Those pictures look great. Haven't seen beavers in real life for quite a very long time. They're not really common around here.

it's surprising - they need clean (but not crystal clear!) water and typically shy away from people. The area where I live, is the north-eastern "corner" of a cluster of cities packed with heavy industry (coal mining, steel works etc). Yet careful restoration and keeping balance between nature and people are possible. My city takes drinking water from below where the beavers live.
Oh I see. That is interesting - and it is great that you take so much care about the nature around you!

I have to say - as a Nation, we don't, we are more on the exploiting side. But I want to applaud my local municipal / regional authorities for concerted efforts aimed at restoring nature destroyed by hundreds of years of mining and pollution from heavy industry
Well, it is a start. And I guess, every effort will change something.
Plus, for those animals saved, that is their world you are changing!
