Flooding and a Mini-Gig
Flooded
A lot of water has come down lately, first snow, followed by lots of rain.
St Neots has quite a big area of flood plains. However, these pictures were taken tonight by a side arm of the River Ouse and near where I live.
We couldn't take the track next to the river, but Mia could reach the water for a change to have an ice cold drink.
The foot path was pretty covered, but we managed to get around fairly dry.

It's well after midnight as I'm typing this having just returned from the pub.
The third time of this session clearly lacked musicians, there were three of us..
Sam played along for a short while, but the most of the evening was filled with Steve and me doing duets and our own stuff.
Colette, the landlady, was very happy and we got drinks for our efforts, which was nice.
I had Guiness zero, highly recommended if you don't or can't drink!

The parkrun course was a little flooded too.
Looks like you had a fun session despite the lack of musicians. I would hope our next one in Arlesey will be busy again. I need to prepare for the session tomorrow.
