Mia and I had a great time playing ball this morning and met a lot of doggie friends.. I do think she enjoys this special time with me.
We worked on obedience as well.. she's "forgotten" how to stay, so that definitely needs refreshing.
A couple of shots from tonight's Open Mic in Shefford; the first one showing Kev as the organiser starting it off.
Michael in the next one; he suggested we should collaborate on a few songs. I'll have a think what we could do and see what comes off that.

I wish we have a live open mic here too, but we are not privileged. It would be a lovely place to go to listen to music and have a few shots to end a busy day I think. Well, I do my own open hive anyway, in my room. 🤣

You don't have pubs like that, is that because of the religion in your country?
To be fair, often pubs rely on the events so they can keep going. Sometimes the people in the pub are mostly musicians as they just want to play.
Many pubs struggle with people not using them and you find them turned into houses and flats to sell on. Then there are those who try every trick of the trade, food and/or fun based to get people in and some do very well indeed, once they get the people hooked.
It's not an easy business to be in, you really have to love it.
yup. Islam Country. I love the peace and quiet here though as I have gotten used to it.
But yeah, whenever I go 'home' I make sure to go bar hopping before heading back here. 😄
I wonder though, do you get paid to perform or just have fun as I know you do? Most musicians do perform to get paid back home.

You don't get paid at open mics, no, but you might get a drink out of it.. lol
You can see how desperately we all want to play, don't you? 😄
Some get proper gigs, of course, but I guess, there are so many musicians around, that pubs have the choice. 🤷♀
Nah, I see the fun of really doing it but I don't see myself doing the same. I would just love to listen but to perform, Live. Hell No. I would run away I think. 😂
