Open Mic 😄: July 12 2023
Open Mic at the Angels' Share in Hitchin. It was slightly on the nippy side and only four performers plus Kev but quite a few people just coming along to listen. Think I'll give it a miss next time if it's not a little warmer..
I did five songs two of which with Steve and two duets at the end of his set.
For the fact that I didn't feel like going as I was tired from a busy work day and it was p... down before I left it turned out to be quite a good evening.
Always that way, isn't it? 🙄
An energetic Kev opening the evening with covers and some of his own songs..
And here we have Yorkshire Mark closing it.

The Angel's Share is a great name for a pub, it looks good too but yeah, sod that if its cold!
They have a great selection of whiskies.

Cold? Weren't we sitting out there in the winter? They didn't even have the curtains up for you. That Kev seems to run a lot of sessions. I think I have met him.
Some sit there in T-shirts.. I clearly lack inner heat..
Maybe I need to get up and dance next time.
