New Venues: August 23 2023

Well, while Tuesday night didn't work out as planned Wednesday night made up for it!
It appears there are two pubs in St Neots that hold open mics within walking distance from where I live. Last night was a nice surprise indeed. The Hyde Park never seemed like my sort of pub, a bit of a lad thing, football and such like I thought, so in all these years I've never once been in there.

But how wrong I was! We got a warm welcome and seemed to be a little highlight of the evening.
This could turn into a regular as it's so close and alternates with the Jammers.
Next week is the other pub so I might like to try that but I'd have to give the Jammers a miss. We'll see.
