German Garden: April 22 2024 (eng/ger)

Anke here aka Anna-NewKey.
Having learned at the Hive meeting that Ecency might be a good app to use for posting I spent some time last night exploring it.
There are some things that I like better than in Peakd, but other features are missing or not working very well. I might get involved on Discord as @mypathtofire suggested we should do so for improvements.
It was fairly sunny today, but chilly. I walked Jackie for a bit and we gave Struppi a little hair cut. He's Ulrike's other dog, who is very old and also a rescue dog and lives with my Mum next door as Jackie bullies him.
He's got some Yorkie in him and needs regular trimming, which he's not keen on. Who is though?

Nachdem ich beim Hive-Treffen erfahren hatte, dass Ecency eine gute App zum Posten sein könnte, habe ich gestern Abend etwas Zeit damit verbracht, sie zu erkunden.
Es gibt einige Dinge, die mir besser gefallen als in Peakd, aber andere Funktionen fehlen oder funktionieren nicht sehr gut. Ich könnte mich auf Discord engagieren, da @mypathtofire vorgeschlagen hatte, dass zu tun, um Verbesserungen vorzuschlagen.
Heute war es ziemlich sonnig, aber kühl. Ich ging ein bisschen mit Jackie spazieren und wir verpassten Struppi einen kleinen Haarschnitt. Er ist Ulrikes anderer Hund, der sehr alt und auch aus dem Tierheim ist und bei meiner Mutter nebenan lebt, weil Jackie ihn schikaniert.
Er hat etwas Yorkie in sich und muss regelmäßig getrimmt werden, was ihm aber nicht gefällt. Aber wer tut das schon?
Struppi genießt einen Zahnstick.

Your sister has a lovely garden, it looks like you were having a nice sunny spell there. I hope you will try the Ecency App, it has some great features and maybe the lists feature could be implemented if there are enough requests.
Thank you for talking about Ecency, it really made me look at it. Steve introduced us to PeakD so I stayed with it, but I feel I might use both interchangeably.
I love the much bigger edit box in Ecency and I've just noticed that I can make this comment box full size too.

I've used Ecency on my phone for ages, but prefer peakd on the PC. It's good to have choices.
That's my sort of garden. I don't like them to be too neat and formal. We are planning to work on ours soon.
Yes, I can see your choice of app depending on the device.. I find myself doing the same already.
It's fairly organised the garden, she is actually a gardener, and she loves supporting wildlife.. it's great, very shady with all the trees she's planted but enough sunny spots if you prefer that.

I’m a massive fan of Ecency and carry out a lot of my activities on it. It’s not perfect and I am not on discord perhaps I should do that in order to help with its development.

I'm finding my feet in Ecency, but I'll probably carry on using PeakD too.
I'll let you know the channel once I know it.. Discord is still a mystery to me when it comes to finding stuff.
The grey Yorkie was "Struppi" and was put to sleep today.. 😭
