Watching some of the Half Marathon St Neots Priory Park

This morning I regretted not having taking my nice little camera as it was full of glorious sunshine, but some rain is forecast for later while our band Swing 42 will be playing.

Mia and I went the same route as a couple of days ago.

I only got out about 9:30am after having been to a jam session last night and was surprised to see so many people and dogs about. I was thinking everybody went for the football grounds, but then I saw little flags in the grass everywhere, supposedly lining up the course for the St Neots Half Marathon which I'm just sharing a few pictures of.

I couldn't stay to watch them going unfortunately because of our said gig later on, but it was interesting to see so many kids getting warm as well as adults.
As we walked back home a mother and child ran to the park. Looked to me as if they were going to take part, but were running late - literally.
Don't think it's a good idea to wear yourself out like that before the race, do you?
