Yes, that sure is important, but some bigger accounts don't seem to think that way and are quite shameful with their votes, and I'm not surprised if people give up and prefer to post on other social networks.
I saw the drumming post you shared, that got loads of votes for karaoke and 73 words with no real content, but doubling it up in another language. That is quite shocking!
It's frustrating for others, me included, when you never feel good enough, and to be honest, making the videos takes too much time and effort for little reward which is why I stopped.

I would say that Hive often seems unfair, but that is partly down to how small it is so a few people wield a lot of power. I don't follow or delegate to the big curation projects as I want to target my votes where they do some good. We are the pioneers and have to expect some teething troubles. I make a lot less than some others, but it's still more than i can make anywhere else online. It's fun enough to keep me coming back.
