Has it ever happened to you that sometimes when you go to the stores where you're going to buy what you need, you can't find it? It happened to me two days ago when I was looking for pistils for my flowers, since I'm in the middle of a creative process and preparing for my wedding. So I went out to look in all the haberdashery stores in my city and couldn't find them. The lady at the store recommended an idea that I hadn't thought of doing: making pistils and stems for flowers with your own hands. I was "surprised" because, honestly, I had no idea how to do it. She gave me some ideas while I was in her store, and I practiced several times until I finally learned how to make them. She gave me some of the materials she had so I could make them and then show her. So today I'm sharing a little bit about how I did it.

We'll start by cutting a piece of 1mm wire, approximately 20cm long (if you want it bigger, you can cut it to 30cm). Then we'll fold it in half and begin by inserting a 6mm bead, placing it at the very end, right in the middle. We'll fold the wire again, using our pliers to twist it in a knot until the bead is secure at the top, without pressing too hard because it can break easily. These beads are somewhat delicate and you have to know how to handle them. We do this gently, starting 2cm apart. From there, we'll insert another 2mm bead and twist it again, this time for a 1cm length. This is how we begin the center of our little branch.

For the second line, I will leave 5 mm less than the distance of the previous one, that is, a little less height towards the right side. We will then insert three 2 mm beads and twist again. I add a small bead and twist again. With this, I have the second guide of the branch. Now let's go with the third one, almost the same size as the second one we made. I insert a small bead, a medium one, and another small one.

The third guide also has a little distance equal to the previous one also below with the same measurements 1 cm long I continued twisting and I will join it with the other wire to seal the sequence of three.

Before moving on to the last little branch at the bottom, we will do the same sequence on the left side with the same length measurements to assemble the branch. At the bottom, we make the stem with a 1 cm twist, and there we start making the other branch with a small pearl, without placing pearls in the middle, just a long one. In this way, we do the same on the other side and finish making the branch.

To complete them, I made several because my idea is to place them under the flowers I'll make inside those flowers. The wristlet flowers are for the bridesmaids and the flower girls who will carry the rings. 🥰 They turned out so simple and pretty, I love them so much, and the feeling of being able to make them myself makes me feel good.
