This Wednesday, September 29, the second day of the UEFA Champions League was played, where Juventus of Turin of Italy received at home the powerful Chelsea Football Club of England, in a match corresponding to Group H, which took place at The Juventus Stadium, starting at 3:00 in the afternoon (Venezuelan time).

The 37-year-old Spanish referee, Jesús Gil Manzano, would be the referee in this exciting duel.

What would happen during the first 45' minutes?

The visitors began to take control of the match with ball possession, giving an outlet to their two wingers, Marcos Alonso Mendoza and César Azpilicueta, who had the task of projecting and playing with the Blue midfielders in the midfield.

Although The Black and Whites could not recover the ball in the middle of the field due to the good recovery of the English, Massimiliano Allegri's team had a great opportunity at the feet of the skilled Federico Chiesa, who in the 20th minute almost beat the goalkeeper Édouard Mendy with a shot that passed close to the goal.

The minutes were ticking away and the score remained at zero. The Blue Lions knew that this first half would be a back-and-forth affair in both areas, as they had explosive players in each of their positions.

Thus, the first half ended 0-0 with plenty of excitement ahead of the second half.

Juve held the 45' minutes occupying spaces in an incredible way: Analysis!

Although Chelsea Football Club had possession of the ball, Juventus was patient and occupied important spaces in each of the lines of the field so that the English could not go deep with their wingers.

As for my analysis, I have to say that it was a good first half on the part of the home team, who gradually gained confidence and security at the moment of making the right passes. We know that the visitors have good players in the midfield.

Goal, more agonizing triumph for Juventus

The second half would begin with a surprise goal for the home side, when the sprinter Federico Chiesa managed to attack the space in the heart of the area and define in the 46' fraction with a powerful left-footed shot, which finally manages to beat the Chelsea Football Club goalkeeper.

Even so, the team coached by Thomas Tuchel, continued to bet on their collective and looking for a surprise in the final stretch of the match.

Unfortunately, on several dangerous occasions, players Romelu Lukaku and Kai Havertz were unable to score in front of Polish goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny, who was safe throughout the match.

With this single goal, La Vecchia Signora, defeated the powerful and indecipherable Chelsea Football Club.

Three points well fought for: Analysis!

From my analysis, I think that this victory was a team effort and was aimed at recovering the good collective momentum of each of the Juventus players.

The midfield helped a lot in the relays. In addition, Juan Guillermo Cuadrado had to give a hand to right back Danilo da Silva, the latter had to keep an eye on the projections of Marcos Alonso Mendoza and Hakim Ziyech.

Juventus' next UEFA Champions League match, will be against Zenit St. Petersburg.
