Este Sábado 15 de Julio se vivio en el Gimnasio Gilberto Roque Morales, de Maturín, el partido de ida de la gran final del Torneo Apertura entre Monagas Futsal Club y Centauros de Caracas a partir de las 6:30 PM, en un ambientazo que recibió a los mejores equipos en esta temporada 2023.
Asimismo, el cuadro azulgrana llegaba a esta etapa decisiva de la Liga, tras dejar en el camino a La Fría del Sur por global de 6-2. Mientras tanto, Centauros de Caracas, eliminó a Tigres Futsal Club en una serie de infarto que terminó 9-8.
¿Resultado?
La fanaticada del Monagas Futsal Club sabía que sería un juego muy difícil, ya que se enfrentaban a un equipo con muchos jugadores de la selección de Venezuela y que ha tenido experiencia en este tipo de torneos.
Lamentablemente, los de Maturín cayeron por marcador de 8-3, donde se vió la clara superioridad de los visitantes al ser eficases en cada ocasión que generaron. Por eso mismo, opino que el local hizo lo que pudo con las herramientas que tenía a disposición el entrenador Wilfredo Callister, este último entendía a plenitud que el rival seria complicado y de inmenso rodaje en cuanto a los torneos que han disputado.

Uno que le costó aparecer contra Centauros de Caracas, fue su figura Wilfredo Gómez, quien en la vuelta frente a La Fría del Sur anotó un doblete.
Rafael Morillo, se encargó de marcar a Gómez, con el objetivo de no dejarlo girar, porque Morillo entendía que tenía una fuerte pegada con su pierna derecha.
De igual manera, rescató el compromiso y la actitud de los de Callister, quienes sin experiencia lograron hacerle un buen partido en el primer tiempo a elenco capitalino.

Claro esta que, deberá ser solido en la defensa y tener contundencia en cada jugada elaborada, porque sino, los locales pueden aumentar el global a su favor.
El juego de vuelta que decidirá al campeón se estará jugando este Sábado 22 de Julio a las 6:30 PM, en el Parque Naciones Unidas, de Caracas.
