My Actifit Report Card: January 7 2023 Rambler Track - Randolph AFB
Took the fam to the Rambler park / track to break in my first significant fitness session of the New Year.
Put in a couple miles and then some when my smallest daughter decided to join me on the track. She was keeping up like a champ but I had to be mindful of other runners. I decided to turn around and light jog backwards so I can keep an eye on those attempting to pass.

As is natural, she decided to turn around and follow suit. This scene elicited a laugh from a passing servicemember who proceeded to overtake us as we continued on our way.
It took a bit of coaching but she made it the entire lap around the track. Maybe she'll be a distance runner like her daddy.
Soon, big sister had to get in on the action and she went a fair distance. Afterward, we were all ready to head home with our tired kiddos.
It's always nice to take the family out, but next time will likely be a solo run for me so I can put in that REAL distance.
