Santewan Indah Love Hill Park // A Tourist Destination with Extraordinary Natural Views

The current tourism trend is shifting towards destinations that offer authenticity, tranquility, and experiences rooted in rural life. And one of the places that achieves this is the Bukit Cinta tourist destination in Bireuen, which is the new face of Gelanggang Gampong village tourism.

Good evening, my friends! This time, I'm back in this beloved community to share some images.
In these images, I'll be sharing one of the newest tourist destinations in Bireuen, located in Gelanggang Kampung village. This tourist destination is called Bukit Cinta. From the top of Bukit Cinta, visitors can see the expanse of greenery and the Gelanggang Kampung village, presented in a calming natural landscape. This place offers authenticity, tranquility, and an experience rooted in rural life.

A few days ago, some friends and I spent a day exploring the city of Bireuen, stopping at several tourist destinations.

One of the destinations we stopped at was Bukit Cinta, located in the Gampong Arena.

On our way to this tourist destination, the weather was a bit unfavorable. Our journeys are usually marked by sunny skies, but that was the opposite.

Here are some pictures I captured during that trip. The traffic, as you can see in the pictures above, was light and the weather was not favorable.

I captured these images with the aim of hopefully illustrating the city of Bireuen, a small town where I live, with a rich history.

Bireuen is famous for its culinary delights and several iconic mosques. Finding a mosque is very easy, considering that Aceh Province is a Sharia-compliant province, with over 90% of its population being Muslim. Therefore, mosques are a bit easier to find than in other provinces in Indonesia.

In this image, you can see the Batee Kureung Monument located in the center of Bireuen. There's also the Cot Gapu soccer field monument, which was decorated with national flags. This was because a carnival or tournament was being held there to celebrate Indonesian Independence Day a few days ago. I also found several mosques alongside newly constructed roads.

Long story short, we arrived at our destination: the Bukit Cinta tourist destination, located in the Gampong Arena in Bireuen Regency.

When I first arrived at the area, I saw several guides in the parking area, as well as very friendly local residents. The place has a very spacious area, and these are some of the images I captured. I believe that a tourist destination is not just about the scenery, but also how the community is ready to welcome guests, protect the environment, and provide meaningful experiences. This is what I see as a place with great potential for the future.

After parking our motorcycles in the parking area, my friends and I explored the area. As I mentioned above, this place has a very large area. The main goal was to reach the top of the hill to see the stunning views there.

These are some of the images I captured while exploring the area. We saw several visitors flying kites in the area, along with several stalls along the roadside, and even the densely populated houses of the very friendly local community surrounding the Bukit Cinta tourist destination.

After about 10 minutes of hiking, we finally reached the summit.

From the top of Cinta Santewan Indah Hill, I saw the expanse of greenery and the Gelanggang Gampong village, presented in a calming natural landscape. This hill has now become a new icon for village tourism in Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency, and is growing into a leading community-based destination.

For me, this is a truly beautiful view, making us feel at home, with the unique hill air far from the city.
And I believe this is one of the natural tourist destinations that offers tranquility.
