My Actifit Report Card: 2024/02/24 2nd Day Of Snowboarding

2nd day crashing and falling on the slopes 🏂 yesterday. Woke up sweating and fever gone. Heart rate also back to normal. I still felt a bit muscle pain but I think the onsen helped a lot relieving all those unwanted pain. Sleep was also less than my normal hours but the excitement that I wouldn’t be left put due to some fever got me excited to hit the slopes again (literally 😆).

Originally intended to take some professional lessons in the morning but couldn’t due to time constraints. Luckily one of our friends who switched from ski to snowboard taught a few more basics and stayed with me until I got the hang of it halfway through the slopes. I am proud to say I was able to lessen my time for 1 lap by half, from more than 2hrs to about an hour. In the afternoon, I again halved the time from 1hr to 30mins. I got giddy and wanted to play some more but just going up the lift really takes time so only 2 laps in total, 1 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. But I was really happy with my progress and excited for the next trip.

We need to return our gears and boards, then dip in the onsen again to relieve muscle pain, and lastly catch our bus going home. Unlike the first day, I didn’t feel much pain at night. Even today, although tired, not much pain than I expected.

I've never been snowboarding but I would love to try, I hear it's easier than skiing but I'm not convinced.
