My Actifit Report Card: 2024/04/18 Shoulders, Biceps, & Cardio

It has been a while since I posted about my workouts. Though I have been consistent with going to the gym, I was just too lazy or forget to share about it. But since I remembered today, I will sharing what I did in the gym.

Today’s workout was just my regular shoulder and biceps routine. Here’s what I did:

Shoulder Press:
5 14kgx2
4 16kgx2
3 16kgx2

Lat Raise:
8x2 8kgx2
10 9kgx2

Dumbbell Curl:
8x2 8kgx2
6 9kgx2

Hammer Curl:
8x2 8kgx2
5 9kgx2

For cardio, I did 30mins on the treadmill. I planned to just walk and jog but I don’t feel tired like the past few weeks so I decided to try a few sprints. It has been a while since I ran indoors or outdoors as part of my workout routine so I was a bit concerned I wouldn’t last long. To my surprise, I performed better than I expected. This is why they say lower your expectations 🤭. So I was able to sprint for 1min30secs at 10kph and then rested and aimed for 11kph next. I only lasted for 1min at 11kph but I didn’t even expect I’d reach beyond 30secs so it’s a YAY for me 🎉 I want to improve my endurance and speed someday and maybe I’ll try to join a marathon then. A long way to go but I am happy and proud of myself right now. Anyway the 30mins included walking, jogging, and sprinting.
