Monday Morning at Capital Park

It's been two weeks!

Finally, an Actifit report after two weeks, and the app has already crashed on my more than 5x while trying to upload photos. 😖

This is my report from yesterday's activity count. Gotta get this out before I fall asleep. I've been awake since 3:00am, with only 3 hours of sleep, and it's now 10:30pm. Wew! Today was intense.

Let's get some sun!

I invited the kids to come with me as I drove their dad to work. I reckon it was a great morning to get some sunshine. The weather was not too cold.

We went to the Capital Park, not expecting a lot of people since it was a Monday. I was surprised to find the opposite. There were lots of children accompanied by their parents, joggers, those playing basketball, even some just casually sitting on the benches scattered around the park.

The kids spent some time in this play area before going to the bigger play area. Meanwhile, I could not help but get swept away at how beautiful the sky was!

Breakfast at the park

After some time, I went to the nearby grocery store to get some bread. I bought Cheese Maneesh and a spinach roll. Ohh, heavenly! The spinach roll was so tasty. I missed it. I used to always buy these freshly baked bread here when I worked at the office building nearby.

The kids spent more time at the big kids' playground and played with the other kids there before we finally decided to leave. We went back to the grocery to buy some veggies for dinner.

I spent the whole afternoon working. I got so occupied I almost forgot to move my car to the free parking-- unfortunately I did not get a covered parking spot. I made a mental note to visit the car the next morning for it surely be wet with dew and it leaves ugly spots on the car when it dries up.
