[PL / ENG] SzapoBa! My Actifit Report Card: December 21 2021

Mieliśmy dzisiaj wigilijkę firmową. Jako, że firma maleńka, to poszliśmy do małej restauracji - SzapoBa Bistro. Dodam, że zwyczajowo podczas takich spotkań jemy po prostu coś dobrego w miłej atmosferze, a nie, że koniecznie barszcz i karpik.

We had a company's Christmas meeting today. As the company is tiny, we went to a small restaurant - SzapoBa Bistro. I would like to add that we always during those meetings simply eat something good in a nice atmosphere, not that borscht and carp are necessary.

SzapoBa to ostatnio modne miejsce na gastronomicznej mapie Katowic. Polecał je sam Makłowicz w swoim odcinku o Katowicach.

SzapoBa is recently a fashionable place on the gastronomic map of Katowice. Makłowicz himself recommended it in his episode about Katowice.

Główne menu składa się z dosłownie kilku potraw, jako dania główne do wyboru standardowo są trzy:

• Ossobuco z jelenia
• Policzki wołowe
• Kurczak Supreme

Oprócz tego jest tablica z daniami dnia. Np. gęsie "pipki" - żołądki (podziękuję ;) )

The main menu consists of literally several dishes, as the main courses there are three to choose from:

• Deer ossobuco
• Beef cheeks
• Chicken Supreme

There is also a daily specials board. For example, goose stomachs (no, thank you ;) )

Wahałam się nad jeleniem i policzkami, ale aby nie ryzykować, że jeleń okaże się starym osobnikiem, w końcu zdecydowałam się na policzki, bo tu mam gwarancję, że mięso będzie mięciutkie i pyszne.

I hesitated over the deer and cheeks, but in order not to risk that the deer would turn out to be an old one, I finally decided on the cheeks, because here I have a guarantee that the meat will be soft and delicious.

Danie szło w parze z babką ziemniaczaną, było też parę pieczarek. Było smacznie, ale jak dla mnie to zdecydowanie brakowało mi na talerzu zieleniny i warzyw.

The dish went with the potato cake, there were also a few champions. It was tasty, but for me it was definitely missing greens and vegetables on my plate.

Porcje nie były bardzo duże, więc zmieściło się jeszcze creme brûlée. Jako druga propozycja deseru był torcik mocno czekoladowy.

The portions were not very large so there was also enough creme brûlée. The second dessert option was a very chocolate cake.

Tak więc w tym tygodniu wtorkowe wychodne zamiast na basenie spędziłam w restauracji. Nadrobimy w nowym roku!

So this week I spent my Tuesday day off in the restaurant instead of at the swimming pool. I will catch up in the new year!
