Cricket World Cup '23 | Bangladesh Squad Selection & Disputes ..
Hello, Sportslovers! I welcome here all of the fans and players and the tribe altogether. It has been a very sportive weekend in the sports contests of cricket and 2023 is a special year dedicated to the discipline.
As all of us know that the world cup is going to be hosted in India and perhaps being the "largest sporting event" - it also has some of the crazy things going on all over and if you are a cricket fan, then you know it pretty well.
Now, I have come here today for quite a few reasons. One is the world cup is getting near and there would be excitements all across the world, specially in the Indian Subcontinent and it is no wonder to say that the worlds toughest cricketing nations are from this region and who doesnt know the "hype" it takes. Number two is to state some of the facts and figures which have taken place over the course of time. I think, in such a great open forum, it would be great to have a discussion over that.

The world cup would take on the 5th october onwards and the host nation is ready to organise this season pretty well and so as the city that are going to implement the whole programme. But those teams that are going to participate in the tournament, they have already announced their best team combination by declaring the "squad" respectively.
I am a big fan of the Bangladeshi Cricket and just less than 2 decades of time, the indigenous people have catched the sport into their emotions and support is huge as the sport is becoming a prime game.
All across the Bangladeshi cricketing universe, the center focus is the issue that revolves around the concept of squad selection without considering the key player to be in the team. Tamim Iqbal is one of the legend of this team who has contributed more than most other players who have had the success and grit, the dedication and inspiration, taking the nation into a stage where it feels proud for whatever little achievement it created that has been able to bring a positive reputation for the country worldwide.
Tamim Iqbal had a few injury issues earlier on and one which affected his career to take sustained shape, fitness fact that has curtailed his ability and the physio's affirmation to settle down for increasing his career span. But, luckily he was in a full dilemma what to do and at one side, there were people pressurizing him to follow the odd steps and he finally decided to retire and put an end to the long career.
During his time of taking retirement, he was the top issue thats been discusses nationwide and people had their mixed opinion about the matter Quite many of the people argued about the matter that he should continue playing on and at least upto the world cup matches. Because he is one of the key players of Bangladesh team that built into the current shape now we see today. The journey was fulfilled depending upon the ability of these players.
Shakib Al Hasan was handled the responsibility to lead the team as captain, but most unfortunately what he did and catalyzed to make a division, a chasm in between the squad has the longer lasting impression that would last for quite a longer period. It is still not clear as of me whether he had the direct intervention in this matter, but even if its not - then there would be a serious catastrophe and these captain, coach, team management and the central board would be liable for any upcoming failure.

Tamim Iqbal is the pillar of Bangladesh batting order and when he opens, he plays with responsibility and ensures that the team walks toward fulfilling a solid score that would work as a foundation for the team. Even he is not fit 100%, that doesnt matter pragmatically. In big tournaments what is mostly needed is to have "experience", rather than " houng skills ".
And it seems that the national team selectors are way behind the truth and there remain not much to say when corruption takes on these sectors like entertainment and sports. When a national team wins a tournament, it brings pride to the whole country and people's celebration proves that fact. Bangladesh will play well, I pray for that, they will surely. But, its a question whether they will play with full spirit or not.
Without Tamim, the full spirit will be missed. Thats the reality.
