Hello Sportstalk, good day to all of you.

Very recently I have been watching cricket for a couple of reason, first- the world cup ODI is scheduled to be organised in the upcoming months of October -November this year, second - there has been no fascination for me to roll eyes over the ongoing tournaments and live cricket matches due to Football world cup previous year.

Yet every time I get confused to look for the little times spared in between the interval period of cricket and football world cup. I sometimes have thought out wonder, what if both of the matches from two types are broadcast live and which one I would choose to view? Will it be the Argentina soccer match or the cricket world cup final?

Thats a pretty close dilemma, but I guess both of the play wouldnt be interfered because in my 10 years of observation, not a single time the two major tournament been hosted in the same year. Back in 2019, there was England to win the cup as they hosted the tournament, but that game was something I would be remembering each time a new world cup arriving on. A game of such suspense, tension, thrill and drama have never been happened in the history of world cup. British people invented the game and spread that to the nation and also they marked the history by winning a cup in the smallest margin.

Hosting A World Cup.

ICC is the main administrator for the operations and control of international cricket, but there have been rumours and claims from many nationals that it is biased and cant take independent and sole decisions by themselves as major cricketing powers tamper, influence and bribe to induce greater control over the authority. This allegation isnt a lame one as most of the time it is often seen as to have the authority behaving like they do, but whatever that is, not good for cricket.

Under any circumstances, I think hosting a global tournament is a big achievement for a sporting authority in a country. It justifies and showcases strength of organisation, richness and maturity of arranging things up in the order. Hosting a big tournament not only strengthens a team structure,team performances and sports participations among citizens, but also creates the space for commerce and gaining revenues that develops GDP growth to remarkable extents.

India already has the worlds highest number of cricket playgrounds,both domestic and international. Players have been playing in all 28 federal states, in their native, state level, sub-national and national level for decades after decades. With such big audience for cricket, they are hosting world class T20 franchise events like IPL, where great players from all around the globe play there and help the domestic players to learn from them and eventually, enriching the pipeline of the Indian local team.

Back in 2011, India hosted their last world cup in home which one they ended up winning the trophy.It is very common for game of cricket, thar whoever hosts the nation,bear the greater chance of winning the final. The recent history of world cup shows the same. Sachin Tendulkar, the man behind the achievement, put an end to his career by winning the most prestigious tournament in cricketing discipline. He was a great legend and so he deserved to be crowned with such precious gift!

Position Of India In Cricket.

India has been a team that made Cricket as their prime sport despite their national sport is Hockey. There are so many traditions and a long historical heritage that nobody would be tired of hearing the behind story. Like some of the other nations, the Indian subcontinent were under British Imperial rule and governance of colonialism. British lords whom were the delegates of British Empire had a very keen desire to play cricket in their lawn after the dismissal of their office work in their respective province.

First, only the white skin of India had the privilege to play cricket and British Raj Govt officials and lords, Governor General and their deputies, assistant had the chance to participate. It wasnt easy that times to afford the prices of sports gear and manufacturing them, forming the purchase by the poor villagers who earned from hand to mouth. But, some of the ladies of the commission came forth with their lovely hand to teach the poor villagers of ancient India how to play the aristocratic game of cricket.

There is also a Bollywood movie titled as, Lagaan,featuring Aameer Khan as the lead role.Watching the blockbuster movie you could be able to visualize how the Indians learnt to play cricket in the earliest period of cricketing accommodation, which evolved throughout a centennial time. More than 300 stadiums weren’t built in a short time, but it followed a long way.

Indian government is smart enough to provide the resources, support and aids to this sector. They almost made the ICC to hear and act what they say to them.Won several world cup time to time and improved in the world ranking,holding constantly the top 3 position as a leading side of the game.

Hopefully this edition of world cup would be successful and sportive,my eyes are on the TV screen, yet October is a far way forward, but I am looking forward to watch IPL on priority list. Many events to notice and many more to discover.
