New Zealand Secured the 2nd Win | Black Caps VS The Dutch (Match #5) ///

It is getting interesting a feat to watch as Black-Caps are winning matches one after another. They are indeed in a terrific triumphant march! At this moment it is pretty tough to say what they can do and achieve in the upcoming matches, although things are seeming pretty uncertain.

But it looks to me that they are more likely to stand back and have a try to revenge out what they lost back in the previous editions world cup.New Zealand most of the times seem as a team that little to often gets the viewers attention as "high voltage" team or catching spotlight as to win the trophy.

What has been picked by my observation that every time, the talk of world cup predictors came who would win, scanty percents of the people chanted the name. How inappropriate that was for them, when they deserved a fair share.

Another key point that always pops up in my mind as I think about the team and the pretty little rugged history that they followed throughout, from one world cup to the another - that they have had painfully hard -luck time to time that inhibited them to win as for title race or qualify for the final matches. South Africa is known as "chokers", popularly there are reasons behind for that.

I wouldnt just say that, the present squad of New Zealand is the best out of other models back in the previous editions past 3,4 times, rather it seems as balanced with experienced and young campaigners who have both inherent potential, talent and match winning experience that they can easily manipulate and apply to win during tough times.

It was a great pleasure to watch players like Daniel Vettori, Brendon Maccullum to play, but they retired without having the taste of lifting the trophy high when the team was in its golden age. This might hurt the New Zealand fans and people so much, but what I think that the New Zealand fans are rather composed and calm as to express their emotions.

Kane Williamsons captaincy back in 2019 helped the team to get in the final upto the biggest times, thats the closest they got to win. But they couldn’t capitalize those chances because luck wasnt there and some of the ICC rule controversy stopped them in the midway.

Whatever their performances been, one thing that is so true for the team is, while they play they put aside human emotions and nervousness aside, that the type of robotic styles of play and stunning performances keep them move extra inch forward every time.

In this world cup,England was their first car to catch and they succeeded grabbing it. I think you havent forgotten the 9 wicket win, a strong, comprehensive victory against the Britishers taught them a lesson, the 4 years old sores been alleviated by the win to some extents for sure.

In the yesterday's match - Netherland was typically a piece of cake to eat and we rarely see mishaps happen too often in ODI internationals. New Zealand batted first and scored 322 as a grand total. This score was satisfactory enough with the bowling attack the team has and with such runs on board they can collapse any batting order.

In this context, Netherland was just a child to bowl to and restricting them below 230 was just an example of what they can do. Netherlands lost two matches in a row, but what I think that experience is the best thing that they can have as learning being an associate nations. If they can go far with a few win, this would be enough.

I expect that New Zealand reach at least Semi final this year and it would be rather a moderate chase to have. Pakistan, India, Australia, England would pose threats, but I assume they would find any way to secure their position in the top 4.

Lets see what happens next !
