We continue with more adventures, this time I want to comment on how this sport discipline has transformed my life, not only in the physical aspect, I can attest that the most extraordinary gain has been in the psychological aspect, this practice produces indescribable well-being and also we do it on mountain roads that lead to paradisiacal destinations, connected with nature, cool climate, flora-fauna and some springs that enrapture.

Sunday, April 16 was a very exciting day for me because we went to visit "El Mirador" on the road to Ocumare de la Costa that leads to the beaches in Aragua state, a recently inaugurated work that has been the sensation for the landscape that can be seen from there, but my excitement was greater because I was premiering "Ruby" that's the name I put to my new road bike ... Henderson, Gaby, Alexander, and Eliecer were my companions this day.

Climbing the mountain road on this bike was different because it is quite light since I am used to riding a mountain bike, I was still surprised at how I was riding a bike that at one time was a dream. In conversations with my brother (also a cyclist) I told him that I wanted to upgrade the bike and joking I said: well...a self-respecting cyclist has a road bike and a mountain bike, surprise was mine when he told me a few days later; look what I got for you, it was "Ruby".

On the way to the viewpoint, we met teammates from other cycling teams, I have the habit of saying things out loud when I'm climbing (this amuses me a lot) my teammates look at each other and smile, and sometimes I shout to drain tensions and invite my friends but they don't do it, they don't know what they are missing, it's therapeutic.

We descended to return to our homes, happy for the new acquisition and I can also roll and develop more speed, I will keep you informed of the progress.
Don't think that this story ends here, I tell you that two weeks later, we returned to this beautiful viewpoint, but at night, we started to climb at about 6 pm to see the sunset and enjoy the mountain in the dark. Dari, Claudia, Andreina, Gabriel, Manuel, Johan, Anibal, and I were the protagonists of this new experience.

Due to the distance from the city, this viewpoint has no light, in our case we used the flashlights of the bicycles when we arrived the weather was cool and it was not cold, Claudia brought coffee and Dari brought cookies, we sat in a circle for a rich sharing and telling funny stories.

If cycling down the mountain is exciting by day, imagine at night; the moonlight, the sound of insects, feeling the cold breeze, the adrenaline at a million for the speed (moderate), with all senses on alert and the uncertainty of the road ... I call this "ecstasy". Unfortunately, the descent was fast, but the emotion and joy remain to return home, rest and continue dreaming of more adventures in our beautiful country.
