My Actifit Report Card: May 1 2023
Missed my Flight
“Why are you traveling that early? 6:30am? You’ll have to wake up by 5am and leave the house latest 5:30am!”, were the questions and comments I got from my uncle which I replied “I’d like to get to Abuja early, so as to make use of the rest of the day” but we both knew it was because it was one of the cheapest ticket available 😅
So we left the house a little bit past 5:30, because to move out of the congested car park was no joke, I watched my uncle battle with his steering wheel and the little space he was availed by his car neighbors.
Got to the airport around 6:07am, I thought I was doing well with time till I asked “is this the line for airpeace Abuja?” “No ooo, that is in the other terminal” Damn! This was my screw up I didn’t check the ticket well.
I had to take a cab to the Zulu terminal, it was 6:20am when I got there and it was already closed, I couldn’t check in.
I HAD MISSED MY FLIGHT
Well, I got the next flight out, which was 7:10am and that was another rollercoaster like burna boy said.
I finally arrived at Abuja at 9:30am but my box is STILL IN LAGOS!
So my actifit was to walk and run around naija airports today.
