Sleepless night

Our son had an allergic reaction, probably to the mixture of grapes with milk, and he was vomiting a lot throughout the night. First he vomited the supper, a home made cereal. Then, the water he asked to quench his thirst or hunger.

My wife and I took turns to hold him and not let him lie on the bed. Mostly my wife. Then, again around 4am, he was thirsty and asked water, we apprehensively gave him. But soon he vomited that too. This time, my wife sat, with him in his lap, until he fell asleep. After an hour, she laid him on bed and all of us slept till morning.

He seemed to have recovered as he did not vomit today. But a lot of clothes and bed covers and blankets got spoiled. My wife cleaned them up lightly, and added them to the washing machine, and I dried them in our varenda.

We had to create a new cradle out of an old saree. I took it right now, since I forgot to take the picture in the morning.
