With me and Harden, we will give Houston Rockets the NBA crown - Westbrook

NBA superstar Robert Russell Westbrook will push for the Houston Rockets to win the championship.

Westbrook made the announcement at the same time formally introducing him to the Houston Rockets after being picked up from the Oklahoma City Thunder through a five-year supermaximum contract.

Westbrook has also been confident that MVP and triple-double kings have grown their chances of reaching the championships especially and they will join forces with former MVP James Harden.

“We both understand that we have one common goal and that’s to win a championship. We understand what we have to do. I’m not worried about it, and I know James isn’t worried about it. I can play off the ball; I don’t have to touch the ball to impact the game. That’s the best way for me to come in and impact this team. I can do other things on the floor to make sure we have a better chance to win.”

Other than this, Russell is proud of coach Mike D’Antoni who has many techniques around the court.

Westbrook and Harden are considered in the league as “most ball-dominant players in NBA history.”

The two have been together for three seasons in Oklahoma City that ended in 2012. But Harden was traded to Rockets before the start of the 2012-13 season.
