Being the taekwondo mom

Hello~~ @bananzell again returning just to share this really nice weekend I had ^^ well, it's only an event yesterday because yesterday I was in hibernation XD but still counts as a nice weekend to me.
So what did I do yesterday? XD well, I was my sister's chaperone to her promotion exam in taekwondo ^^ I usually do take her to her classes because I usually have to carry her home on my back on days when she trained a little too much. And seeing as she just started with the training, the 2 hour sessions are a little harsh on her body. She's been going at it for about 2 months now and I've helped her train and even bought her some stuff because I see that she really enjoys it and I would like it if she can continue this activity of hers because I never had the chance to enroll in these kinds of classes while growing up even though I really wanted to.

Such a shame I couldn't upload the videos. I didn't have time to compress and I couldn't make gifs so just the pictures would suffice for now.
The promotion exam went on for about an hour and a half. What really took a lot of time was individual assessment and the QandA portion. I didn't even know taekwondo promotion needed a QandA kind of thing, but I guess when you learn theories, you do need to know stuff and you do need to understand that discipline you study.
So after such a long exam, the next order of business was definitely to eat and have coffee XD And I really liked what I had yesterday

I had a kiddie meal bento XD not really because I thought it was cute (I mostly thought it was cute), but because I don't eat a lot and I like the food variety! And this definitely had variety to it plus it was basically the exact amount I eat on a day to day basis so still filling for me. My sister just silently judged me because she got the regular bento and everyone though the kiddie bento was hers XD IDK I'm weird like that. I like the kiddie meals, even in fast food, I usually get the kiddie meals.

Then we were lucky because there was this Komiket event going and for more info, Komiket is a local comic book publishing house. Local publishing has really been gaining traction really and I support some names, but yesterday, the artists I support weren't available at the event. I did get cool stickers and art though.

I did find some of the ig/Facebook artists I follow though and that was cool, getting to meet them in person. And I loved seeing the small live art corners they built for speed draws and for chibi-fying one's self. Sad I didn't get the chance to do that for myself though, I wish I did but my sister was in a rush to get home because she had exams to study for.
So all in all, that was like 6 hours outside for me and a looottt of stickers collected while walking around the event venue UwU it was a nice weekend.
