After a restful few hours sleep, Shung could sleep no more. He was restless; fidgety. Reminding himself of the reason behind his visit to Endorr...

...his restlessness continued. How did a Halfling Sojourner end up getting entangled in someone else's web of revenge? Against the Shadow Thieves? That's an entire organization of cut-throat mercenaries...an entire guild of...killers?

Is this what Shung wants? This life of...adventure?

Stepping into the night with Dariush's map at hand, Shung's feet walk themselves...











Shung always loved temples, even if his interest in the world of "The After-Dead" is non-existent. But on a night like this it's either a snatch-up between four places...

...a place to drink...

...a place to gamble...

...a place to whore...

...and a place to find solace. The first three can be simplified into one establishment...

The locks are sealed tight by mechanisms and magicks; the lights from within look strange; the room gives off an atmosphere of mystery...and not the good sort.

After being offered accommodation under Selene's protection for the night, Shung seizes the day...

The folk of Endorr are hardy people. Sailors, Street merchants, Runaway kids, Prostitutes, Beggars; their entire lives circling around the wheel of hard graft, hard cheese, hard drinks and a sprinkle of excitement.

Under the watchful gaze of the Endorrian authorities, this city appears to be a safe harbor for anyone willing to to engage in honest work. Though there is an undertone of tension, as if the city itself is being put up on auction, the city manages to stay out of it's own trouble.

Yet the night brings a different song, one that Shung has yet the pleasure of hearing.

Life is good, but not easy.
