After a good night's rest Shung-Fan packed his bags, along with his newly acquired gems, and headed downstairs to mingle with the crowd...

...it did cross Shung's mind to offer the gems to the locals as an act of goodwill; The thought didn't last long as dreams of gems and gold soon took hold of him...

...but hey sometime's things end up taking a wonky turn. This King Beetle problem doesn't sound too enticing...yet there may be riches worth hunting for here.

But first it's time to gear up. Currently Shung is rockin a...

...that doesn't really offer any benefits nor stat bonuses; he does have a nice, fresh, newly pressed...

...that does give +2 to his base armor and +6 to his max Dexterity; downsides to the leather is it's a bit too tight around the armpits, giving Shung a 10% Penalty to casting Arcane spells.

Question is does Shung-Fan look like a bitch Wizard and why does he need to cast spells? He's done with performing at Carnival Road Shows! He is an adventurer now!

Making way to the North Eastern section of the area...

...Shung enters the cave where this King Beetle's rumoured to be. He is weary of any danger so he slips into the shadows...

..only to find a...

...duking it out with another adventurer...

Three on one doesn't seem fair! Plus Shung clearly needs to get to those crates over yonder. This fight has to stop! It was at this moment when Shung found that he had an ounce of heroism within him...

...never got his name, but Shung did receive 48 Gold Pieces. Once the Warrior left the cave, Shung proceeded to loot the crates...

He also finds a corpse of an unfortunate adventurer who'd met their demise here not long ago...

It's a dog eat dog world out here and treasure is treasure...surely the deceased adventurer wouldn't mind?

All this gear can fetch a pretty penny, especially the Amulet.

Heading back to the Hobgolin Inn Shung reports to Fjorn...

Then sells of his loot, identifying the unnamed Amulet along the way...

+1 to Armor Bonus will go very well with Shung's leveling up...

A profitable afternoon venture wouldn't you say?
