The Ballon d’Or set for December 2 is part of the big thing in football that everybody is waiting for. There has been a lot of guessing on who will be the next world champion. Many people said the dominance of Christiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will be totally broken because they will not be named this year. The Liverpool player, Duo Virgil Van Dijk has been the favourite for the Ballon d’Or.

As people keep their hands crossed waiting for the set date for unveiling the winner, someone somewhere was said to have seen the Ballond’Or ranking and posted it on twitter. The anonymous poster revealed the list with Lionel Messi at the top, followed by Virgil Van Dijk and Mohamed Salah, with C Ronaldo in the fourth position. Could this be true, or the paper was forged by this unknown twitter masquerade? No one is sure yet until there is a reaction from the committee in charge of the ranking.
