Jose Mourinho won his first two matches and made it three by defeating Crystal palace 3-2 on Saturday 30/11/2019. The second match between Tottenham and Olympiacos was very tough as Tottenham was 2 goals down in the first half.

What I want to talk about isn’t the match in itself, but the action of a ball boy that turned around the match for Tottenham. Callum Hynes (the ball boy) as on the field doing his normal job of getting the ball nearer to the players and keepers when it goes off the pitch, and unknowingly for him, one of his fast action in getting the ball to the Tottenham player resulted in a goal, which was the major turning point as Tottenham equalized and eventually defeated their visiting opponent.
After the match. Jose Mourinho was happy. He said the boy’s sharp response in getting the ball as fast as possible to the Tottenham player foster the second goal that motivated them to score more, which confirmed their qualification to the next round of the UEFA Champions League.

Jose Mourinho honoured the ball boy by inviting him to a pre-game meal and introduced him to the players. The 15 years old boy was glad to have been honoured by Jose Mourinho. While he was commended for his brilliant reading of the match, he said he only did the normal and usual thing he has been doing. He mentioned that after he threw the ball to the Tottenham player, he was busy gathering other balls, and he heard GOAL! I didn’t even see the goal, said the young lad.

The boy was spotted shaking hands with Heung-min Son, and Toby Alderweireld and was later seen sitting down and discussing with Sanchez Davinson. According to Tottenham's official website, the boy said what Jose Mourinho did was unbelievable, and nice of him. He further explained that Mourinho made his day, and it is such a moment he will never forget. Thanks for reading.
