Should there be a limit to which business one can venture into? The former Manchester United striker, now playing for LA Galaxy in America, Zlatan Ibrahimovic didn't consider this question before taking his decision of investing in his home rivalry club, Hammarby IF. Zlatan's home club Malmo FF and Hammarby are direct rivals, which is clear to everyone. Malmo stands at the top of the table with 59 points while Hammarby is in the third position with 56 points.

Buying a share at Hammarby isn't a problem in my opinion, because business is business, and rivalry in football should not be taken as enmity. Zlatan's utterances made the matter worse. He posed with Hammarby Jersey and said the club will be the best in Scandinavia. Knowing fully well that Malmo and Hammarby are rivals, he should have made his speech a little friendly towards Malmo to minimize negative reactions from Malmo supporters.

After unveiling his 25% holdings at Hammarby, the city of Scandinavia went crazy with Malmo supporters reacting to his decisions. Some mask men nearly set Zlatan's statue at the front of their stadium ablaze, and went as far as destroying, and writing Judas on his home at Stockholm.

When asked about former Malmo player Pontus Jason, he said

Zlatan has been a role model since I was young, but now, he has lost a great deal of respect. I can understand if it's business, but then, he shouldn't say those other things about Hammarby.

As a professional and a role model that command

respect from every Malmo players and supporters, he should have been modest in treating the situation. Will he be able to manage the situation well earn back his respect? What do you feel about the situation? You can drop your comment and let's talk about this. Thanks for reading my sports talk.
