Resulta que ayer estuve leyendo un artículo de opinión del amigo @fermionico titulado Los dados están cargados. El artículo llamó poderosamente mi atención y quise opinar pero, me costaba organizar las ideas y hacer uso de un vocabulario técnico.

Además, no sólo basta con ser fanático de un deporte, se trata también de conocer la historia y dar nombre de estos jugadores que siguen marcando un hito en el deporte.

En este sentido, compartí la publicación con mi hijo, amante y muy conocedor de la materia. Sabía que él querría opinar algo y no me equivoqué. Es por esta razón que digo: "hoy vengo acompañada"

Los increibles Orioles de Baltimore, quienes a pesar de ser el equipo revelacion de las Grandes Ligas por haber terminado una temporada 2.022 con mas de 100 juegos perdidos y ahora haber sido el equipo mas ganador de la Liga Americana y segundo en toda la MLB con 101 juegos ganados, es un equipo en reconstruccion quienes no se unian a la fiesta de octubre desde el año 2.016 y su base ha sido fortalecida por un line up de jugadores jovenes y sin experiencia en play off a excepcion de Aron Hick.

Ahora, a estos orioles les toca enfrentarse a un equipo también en reconstrucción pero con la diferencia de que estos Rancheros de Texas han invertido en jugadores experimentados (activos para esta serie) como lo son el MVP de las finales de temporada 2.020 Corey Seager, los veteranos Marcus Siemen, Jordan Montgomery y Aroldis Chapman, además de contar con jugadores inspirados a la ofensiva como lo son: Adolis Garcia, Josh Jung, Mitch Garver y Leody Taveras.

Es por ello que sin quitarle meritos a la gran temporada de los Orioles de Baltimore, no creo posible que los mismos puedan revertir la serie ante los Texanos y seguramente quedaran eliminados.

Por su parte los Astros de Houston ya con siete (7) temporadas consecutivas uniendose a la fiesta de otoño y con un plantel repleto de jugadores estrellas y experimentados en play off, además de haber recuperado para su roster abridor al futuro salón de la fama Justin Verlander, no va a desaprovachar la oportunidad que se le presenta de poner a prueba su sólida ofensiva y ganar la serie ante un equipo en renovación y con debilidades en su bullpen a excepción del Venezolano Pablo Lopez, como lo es el equipo de los Twins de Minesota.

Y Para finalizar en esta oportunidad seguramente tendremos 2 favoritos clasificados como lo son: Ranger de Texas y Astros de Houston, así como tendremos dos favoritos eliminados: Bravos de Atlanta y Dodger de los Angeles.
