My Actifit Report Card: October 5 2022

Honestly sometimes I have so many problems with the Internet here that it drives me crazy.

I think we are probably going to move, we have had all the companies we could get here and they all suck.

No one has been able to stop the constant drop outs sometimes it is up to a 100 plus a day and can last for seconds our to a whole hour and they simply don't care.

It is so funny that all these companies suck because they use the same infrastructure and engineers here.

There is no competition for your services in the UK because they all use BT infrastructure.

It is a complete scam.

BT even split their company just so they could pull this off.

Every single company wants you to sign a contract even though they can't provide the services and have no intention of fixing shit.

It is daylight robbery and it is legal apparently, this world is broken.

Everyone accepts it how stupid is that?

It really is just about who collects your money for what they call a service and what it runs on doesn't change.

Each company here is basically renting from BT who insist they use BT engineer who also cannot fix the problem.

They all say the same thing first they want you to sign up for an 12 month contract it use to be longer.

They charge you more if you don't, then they tell you they will send out an engineer who comes from BT open reach.

They all threaten to charge you if the find you caused the problem.

They mess around for hours, scratching their head for hours trampling all over the place just to tell you they have to send someone else out.

Which is just another open reach dumbass.

Who does the same thing.

This has been going on longer than 15 years so yeah I can confidently say.

BT and all other Internet companies servicing our area are not only incompetent but lie constantly.

They never find it is our problem and they never fix it but want us to sign a contract, we have refused so we have to pay more.

Consumer rights don't mean shit in the UK.

It is really annoying I'm sure Ben! Good to get that off your chest I bet. We ordered internet and it took them over a month to come and connect it up. Business is all about scamming these days, such a shame.

It is mate very to be honest makes it unuseable sometimes i ether have to switch to mobile or turn my mobile into a router which is ok but not really the best.
It did feel good to get it off my chest, it is good to let it out i think.
That sucks mate, Yeah it is a massive scam these days.

Really sorry to hear about your internet issues Ben, seems the only other option is Starlink from SpaceX, maybe they work better, or you might be able to make your own internet with the help of your neighbors, many communities have done so before, just takes a dedicated person to pull everyone together, enjoy your day and stay !ALIVE

Thanks mate yes i was looking into that will have to way up the pricing maybe something to apply after the xmas i think.
Will totally consider it if i have too, i wam not the only person having these issues i know that for sure.

These kind of complains were usual for me when I worked at one Internet provider. Just believe me that we did all of our best but situation wasn't always depend on us. There are some other factors that we can't change.

Yeah i understand mate i have had a lot of engineers over the years and realised after several of them they were getting just as frustrated as us must be a tough spot between company and customer.
We did also have some really rubbish engineers one just abandoned his tools and left no word, i assume left the job too 🤣
