Arthur Abraham retires from boxing, has no desire to fight again!
Former world middleweight and super middleweight champion Abraham, 40, spoke to News Armenia and officially announced the end of his boxing career. The boxer added that he just wants to spend time with his family, children and his parents.
Some of the highlights of Abraham's career include his two fight series with Edison Miranda, his four fight series with Robert Stieglitz, and several notable victories in Germany. During his career in the Super Six super middleweight tournament, Abraham scored a fierce knockout over Jermain Taylor, but lost bouts to Andre Dirrell (DQ), Carl Froch and Andre Ward.
