Is youth and lack of experience a problem or a silly excuse?

Every day in world boxing we see prospects who are touted as killer freaks and who can beat any champion. Most of them hardly ever accomplish anything. It is always the same, it is like promoting a product or garment and being explained how good or good it is, but in the end it never goes on sale and nobody can buy it and they continue to promote it.

In modern boxing the situation is not so different. Most prospects are marketed as if they were already hunting a division and being stuck for more than three years, but they are not. The fights with the champions are never made either by the fighters themselves or worse, because their technical team and promoter are opposed.

Using the same silly phrases of "he's little boy", "he's not ready, he lacks experience", "we can't risk defeat", among other savagery that is talked about a lot today. Before there were no such bad habits. An example is Jaime Munguia who did not want to unify the super welterweight division, and only had to go up to medium to avoid risk rivals.

And now at middleweight he will do the same. That if he is 24 years old, that if he is young, that he will face the champion in four years, etc ... Before it was not used to make such objections. If you were a boxer and you felt ready you would do it or you left your promise position, it was that simple.
