Who is your G.O.A.T?
At first I wanted to release this post on the first champions league day 1 match for this week after Messi performed really well.
After some thoughts, I decided to wait till Manutd plays so I can be fair in my approach.
For starters, I am a serious Ronaldo fan and I must say I am proud of it anytime and anyday.
I love Messi but Ronaldo has my heart.
I am sure that at this point, a lot of you must be thinking of how confused I am.
It's not possible to love Messi and Ronaldo at the same time.
Who is your GOAT?
After seeing Messi's performance about two nights ago, I was like the king is back.
Then Manchester United played on the next day and for the best part of the match they played total trash.
Villareal happens to have being Manutd's nemesis in recent times.
So when they scored their first and only goal, I was totally angry at Manutd for stressing Ronaldo and champion's league Varane with their incompetence.
Somehow somewhere in the 60th minute Alex Telles made a great volley into the net from a poorly crossed corner and the game got pretty tense.
Manutd kept on playing their usual trash.
Now Ole has a way of making the fans angry and he then decided to make his usual clueless changes at the 89th minute.
He removed Telles and brought in Fred. He also removed Jadon Sancho and brought in Lingard.
When I saw these changes, I had a feeling Ole wanted to defend the draw.
I mean he brought in Matic also
Then I told a friend that I won't be surprised If Ronaldo scores and make it 2-1
Guess what??
He did it!!
He scored the last minute goal.
Now a lot of people will bring Messi vs Rinaldo to the table and say Rinaldo is just a goal machine and nothing more.
My question is what wins the game?
What makes the fans shout more?
What do people watch football for?
When I say Ronaldo is my goat, I say it because he delivers when it is needed.
Its not about scoring goals alone, its about scoring when the world is on your shoulders.
Messi doesn't do well with pressure.
I mean I see Messi looking defeated if he is on the losing side.
When Ronaldo is losing, he still has the energy, the confidence and the drive.
This is because he knows he can do a lot even with little time
Yes, Messi scores, gives a lot of assists and all that.
But, I feel if he was in the English premier league he won't do as well as what Ronaldo is doing right now.
I don't think passes win titles but I know goals do and important goals should be the difference.
In my opinion, Ronaldo delivers way more than Messi.
Messi is good but Ronaldo is mind-blowing.

I respectfully disagree with this statement. Messi is fifth in most goals against epl top 6 and he's never even played in the league.
Not to mention assists. He's not majorly a goal scorer but he's so good he's better than most.
I don't expect you to change your Goat simply because of this, but I just wanted you to know this.
As for me Messi is my Goat
First this stat is based on goals and I can tell you that Ronaldo has more of the goals too.
The denominator is not equal, so the statistics has some issues.
I hope you are seeing that Messi is not doing so well in PSG.
He has a better team but yet can't do well in a French League.
Well, when you look critically, you will admit Ronaldo carries his team on his shoulder.
Ronaldo has played a lot more games than Messi. Yet Messi has a better goal per game ratio
He didn't start well, yes, he had some injury issues. But he came back with a goal against city, so let's see what happens from here.
I can't say he's carrying this team on his shoulders yet. It's just a few games. All he's done so far is score tap ins, some more important than some. But he's a very good footballer and I rate him but to me Messi is better.
