Dhoni's little cameo gave MI 7th consecutive loss of the season

Hello, Good afternoon and welcome to my blog once again. It was low scoring match yesterday but very tight one where it looks like MI will get their first win but Dhoni's little cameo in last over spoil MI's hope and gave another loss which was 7th consecutive, so it's time to discuss it in details so let start it.

CSK won the toss and by mistake Jadeja said they will bat first but later said they were going to bowl first. CSK did wonderful start as they out both openers Rohit and Kishan on duck. It was bowling friendly pitch and bowl was moving so well. In third over Brevis also out, so they lose 23/3 and looks trouble again. Mukesh Chowdhury bowled so well as he almost took 4th wicket too unless Bravo not drop easy catch in the sleep.

Once again all responsibility came to Surya Kumar Yadav as he kept scoring runs but he also out on 32 as MI was in big trouble. Surprisingly they kept save pollard for the last few over as debutant Hritik Sokeen came up as he also showed some of his skill, but he out early too. Pollard also didn't do anything like before as only Tilak Verma able to pass 50+ score and stay unbeaten to took his team total to 156 which was good on this bowling pitch.

In chasing small target, MI got price wicket of Gayakwad on very first ball of the match, and it gave MI to hope that they can back attack too. CSK sent Santer up to the order but he also not able to score as he out early too. Rayudu and Utthapa played well and Utthapa out 30 as CSK were 66/3. Rayudu playing some shot but also playing lots of dot balls too which build pressure on the team.

In one stage, it looks like MI was in good position to win the match as 4 overs left, and more than 45 runs required with 2 overs of Bumrah too. CSK were lost 6/106, but then Pretorius also played a nice cameo too of 22 runs. Bumrah did well to bowl as in last over required 17 runs. Pretorious out on first ball as well as bravo took single, so now 16 needed in 4 balls as Dhoni knew where Unadkat will bowl, and he did as in slot where Dhoni hit six. Dhoni hit one more four as in last ball they required 4, and he hit it four too as low full toss in leg side.

It was a great finish for Dhoni after a long time. He played finisher roll in last over as well as very poor bowling too by Unadkat as not bowl offside slow yourker even after took field that types too. Perhaps MI got another loss, and it's their 7th one of the season. Mukesh Chaudhary got Man of The Match award for his brilliant opening spell. That's it from today and stay tune for next post.
