Rahul's captain knock gave MI another loss and continoue winless season
Hello, Good afternoon and welcome to my blog once again. It was very hot Sunday and there was only one match where LSG gave another defeat to MI and poor season of MI continue as this time they were chasing low score on Wankhede which was batting pitch. MI not able to win this time too and time to discus about it in detail so let start it.
MI won the toss, and they chose to bowl first, as they were expected due to play role. Both teams came with same 11. LSG did slow start as they lose De Kock early so they slowly buildup their inning. Manish Pandey and Rahul made a good and useful partnership, where Pandey was out but slow bounce of Pollard. Rahul later accelerate his inning where he took his team 100 in 13th over and looks like big score.
From one side they kept lose wickets but from other side KL Rahul played captain knock as only able to score runs where others are struggling to score. Ayush Badoni played small role with Rahul as Rahul reached another century against MI back to back match as LSG able to score 168 runs which looks 20 runs short. From MI Bumrah did good bowling as others were struggling.
In return, MI made mind too slow start as their both opener struggling for score in this IPL. Rohit Looks in good touch but Kishan looks much under pressure as not able to score. MI did good starts thanks to Rohit as they were 49/0 in 7 over but then Kishan out of Bishnoi ball with unlucky dismissal with play shot where ball hit to wicket keeper's shoe and went in sleep.
Deweld Brevis also out early, and then they start to lose wickets one by one. Surya Kumar Yadav was only hope but he also out by Badoni with very awkward shot. Tilak Verma played well once again but from other side not able to score as pollard also fail to took MI to victory like what he did before for them. MI only able to manage 132 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 36 runs which is very big margin.
Once again it looks MI in much pressure of even chasing small target on batting pitch. Their intent was totally different as it has clearly seen pressure on them. KL Rahul's captaincy is very impressing as whenever made bowling change, they got wicket and perhaps able to win match too. KL Rahul got Man of The Match for is unbeaten 103.
