All Or Nothing Juventus

As some of you already no I am a big Spurs fan and I am always listening to podcasts and looking up reports and stories around the club. I listen to all the press conferences and join the live youtube podcast by LastwordonSpurs every evening after the game . It's mostly giving out these days but you support them during the peaks and troughs no matter what.

I am fascinated by the new Director of Football at Spurs. A man by the name of Fabio Paratici. He was instrumental in bringing Juventus back to winning their 9 in a row and hee was the man who got Ronaldo , Pogba and some major stars to come to the Old Lady. I heard the new All or Nothing which is an Amazon documentary series around a season with a football team (Access All Areas is the deal for a massive sum) is the Juventus team of 2020 under Pirlo. Sarri had won the 9th title for Juventus but he was not a popular figure and was given the boot. So the documentary starts on the arrival of club legend Pirlo who is new to management that there was some raised eyebrows that he even got the job. Also at the club was Ronaldo and seeing this guy in action in training and off the field was worth the watch alone. The documentary is in Italian obviously so subtitles are needed but I really enjoyed watching Pavel Nedved the hot head vice chairman who is a legend in his own right, Agnelli the club owner who doesn't suffer fools and Fabio Paradici look on while Pirlo coached the team. It was fascinating to watch the mechanics. The older players such as Giorgio Chellini the Captain, the much colder Bonucci and Gigi Buffon were very interesting to watch. There was a part in the show where Chellini visits a sports centre for disabled kids and he was running around with them, he knew all their names. He visited them frequently and took them gifts. It was so heart warming. Chellini the Juventus captain really is a genuine top top bloke. Chellini was pretty much free from injury his whole career but he broke his knee last season which put him out for a long time. He was very depressed over it but the disabled kids sent him a lovely video message saying
"It's OK Giorgio, now you are like us." I found that so powerful. There was a tear in my eye anyway. The captain of Italy and Juventus had such a bond with the little kids in his city. You also see Chellini hanging out with the young players trying to bring them into the Juventus fold. You see him spending time with Chiesa and Weston McKennie. I was amazed the level of English he had with with Weston and how he made people settle in. Bonucci on the otherhand was a bit more demanding of the younger ones and made his point to a few of them in the canteen.
I found the interactions with Ronaldo especially by the Juve staff was pretty funny. They thought he was a god. He was due to do a Christmas advert for the marketing team and the staff were running around like ninety before he came to have everything perfect. He walked in and spent 7 minutes doing a couple of takes and done. He walked in in his Yfronts another time and even the old men were admiring his body which was funny as well.
The thing about this All or Nothing is that we know Juve didn't win the 10th title for the Old Lady and he is not around anymore so it is interesting to see them capitulate later in the season as injuries mount up.

Watching Nedved and Paratici in action was very interesting judging the manager and also judging the players. It sums up what is happening at Spurs right now under Paratici and Conte. One thing I did not like was the Italian dubbing which is a more direct translation of Italian and comes across serious. A little known fact is that Tom Hardy narrated the Spurs All or Nothing.
I did quite like this one and the dynamics of the team. They are a team of winners and you can see it. When they lose they are angry and they sort it out in the dressing room it looks like. I liked Pirlo and his style and he comes across well even though he was fired at the end of the season.
One funny part was when the assistant coach told Pirlo that the players were complaining over training. He looked at Chellini.

If they saw what Conte put us through they wouldn't be complaining
This was a good series for me. Better than the city one and maybe the Spurs one if I wasn't such a fanboy. It is well worth a watch for a sports fan.

I need to watch this as it gives another perspective into the teams mechanics.

It is great to connect with another Spurs fan. I am looking forward to the Conte era :)

The only thing that concerns me is that he has only signed an 18 month contract.

@jmehta Nice one. I am glad you are too my friend so I have some back up now. Yeah the 18 month contract is a worry. If he gets that far. If we don't have a clear out in January he will be gone sooner I imagine

Great comfortable win yesterday. No real danger, although I would loved a Kane goal.

Yeah it was our best match this year and now we are not far off 4th with a game in hand. Plus Regulian finally completed a pass

LOL haha! I think Regulian will thrive under Conte as he he loves to play 3-5-2. He is in my fantasy football team :)

If he could get his final pass right he will be good. Very inconsistent since he arrived
