So Where Will Richarlison Fit In?

img_0.9754228407087874

The signing of Richarlison is a strange one for Spurs. He is seen as a luxury signing for Conte as he already has a strong attack. The Brazilian can play on the left as a back up for Son or of an attack or as a number 9 as a back up for Kane. Conte always talks about not having a solid starting 11 as the whole squad should be battling for a place. This does ring through as Spurs really didn't have anyone to bring on last year. Kane was guaranteed a place and I think if he didn't show up then either did Spurs. Don't get me wrong when he did show up he was unbelievable but him and Son do need someone that is biting at their heels and who better than a South American tough forward that is not afraid of the dark arts. Richarlison will get plenty of game time given the sheer amount of games before the world Cup.. Kane and Son can now be rested if Conte desires.
The signing of the Brazilian is music to my ears. Spurs have always had a starting 11 but the best was always youngsters. As Conte was rumoured to have said. I turn around and look at my bench and then look back on the pitch. Richarlison is also a Conte type player. Physical kind of the same style as Diego Costa who he had at Chelsea. And what he can do with this guy may be unbelievable as I still think he is a rough diamond. He's Brazilians number 9 which means something after fighting off the likes of Gabrial Jesus for the privilege. Now Conte will look back at his bench and find direct replacements for his players.

Spence and Lenglet will be in before the weekend which will make it 6 signings for Spurs. They will then look to move on players such as Bergwijn , Winks , Ndombele and Los Celso and keep an eye out for another centre halve and attacking midfielder. I never thought I would say this but we don't need Eriksen so I reckon he will sign for United.
Lenglet is coming on loan for a year as Barcelona try and lower their wage bill. He didn't impress with Barcalona but they signed him because he was an unreal talent and if anyone can harness this it's Antonio Conte.

A photo of Ndombele training came out this week and he was going mad at it. He is trying to impress Barcelona believe it or not. Spurs fans know it is too little too lad. Shit attitude and a wasted talent. YouTube player. Imagine being a professional footballer that cannot last 90 minutes as he is not fit. He is one of the world's top talents but he needs to go. I reckon another loan deal here and it might be Barca if they do not get a Dm in. If not its Turkey for the French man because noone else will have him. It is only then it might dawn on him that he has to put in the effort. Mourinho got the best out of Ndombele and even he moaned about him. Roma might come in but he will have to lower his wages. Conte wants him out the door and rightly so.

In other news the all or nothing Arsenal trailer came out this week and it shows Aaron Ramsdale going mad in the dressing room. I'm looking forward to this and I will have the popcorn ready. Watching them lose their star striker will be a great laugh and seeing them get a drumming from Spurs. @arsenal4life will be canceling his Amazon subscription I imagine. Their clown fans also would have loved to have signed the real Brazil number 9 as well.

I feel Lucas moura might leave eventually because his game time would decrease more next season

Yeah I'd say he might be someone we will sell.

Yeah I feel for this guy. I felt Conte was his liberation and I saw how he stepped up and was enjoying himself under Conte, but suddenly it is where it is.
He seems to just be unlucky in his career. At PSG,not that he was awful and they counted on him,but from the bench mostly. At Tottenham it has been a nearly-there kind of situation generally.
I just hope he gets a club and coach who believes him totally and starts him regularly, especially at his age.

Antonio Conte is the only coach in the world that you can bet on his deals without thinking twice, not because they are the best in the world, but because they are the best with him.

True that. He's after improving every player at spurs with the exception of dele and ndombele who he wants out

In my opinion, Harry Kane will be largely responsible for the play industry and move in front of him Son and Richarlison, Tottenham have so far increased the depth of the formation well and offensively, they have Mora and Kolosevsky on the bench.

Lenglet had a great first season with Barcelona, but then what? He has been lost since the Anfield match, as is the case with many players in that match, so Conte is betting on a mentally player who needs to change the club to try to regain his level.

In my opinion, it remains for Tottenham to sign Adama Traore to play as a late winger on the right flank. On the left, Perisic is present, and Tottenham will have a very terrifying team at the level of transformations.

Yeah I think we are still sore after the first Traore rejection . Don't think Spence will be ready straight off . One of our weak points

I think Richarlison is a very solid and variables player to have. I think that Conte would love to have alternatives in his offensive lines. It probably gives him more options in tactics and maybe react if one player is not performing well in one game.

I liek you hatered for Arsenal :D

Conte knows what he is doing even though I have never really rated the Brazilian. This season is more about squad depth than other seasons due to the World Cup.

Ah he has something about him though. He's the reason Everton stayed up.

Conte is fantastic, and I especially liked how he transformed and reinvented Victor Moses. Richarlison will also work within the framework of his strategies, but I have a concern regarding Lenglet. Does he fit in?

Yep provides competition for Ben Davies. Left centre back .

Only if the league was handed out at the transfer market, then Tottenham would already have won it. The business has been shrewd and swift. I can see this team genuinely challenging for the title and I'm already feeling sorry for arsenal

I think Clement will perform well under Conte, this is his chance to prove that he is still a top defender and Barcelona should not let him go. As for Richarlison, he will deliver I have been a big fan of Richarlison for a long time now so I believe he will give his best for the club. It going to be a hell of a ride for Tottenham and I am excited to see how they will perform in the coming EPL season and UCL.

Hi,
You can not but be impressed about Tottenham's business this summer, though I was expecting it. But when players like Bissouma and Richarlison come in,it looks all the more impressive! That's why I wrote,FOUR SIGNINGS IN FOUR WEEKS. The sheer attraction of the player to a great coach like Conte(firstly), then the Champions league and a better run club than his erstwhile club has attracted Richarlison.

Yeah the world Cup means that players will be rested, but isn't Richarlison taking some kind of risk? Well I think it's Kulusevski that will have to pay the price often, thanks to the versatility of Richarlison.

The Gunners, well they needed a number 9. Richarlison can give that, but Calvert-Lewin is the number 9 in his club. Brazil allows him play the number 9 role,as often as the coach likes, with real competition for that spot. Arteta chose the Brazilian number 9(since the wings are already taking care of),who does it at club level, who will be motivated to strut his stuff, since Pep was a tough coach to please and the World Cup is at hand. He chose a player he has coached before too, how's that for a low risk maneuver?

Simply put,who is more likely to start on the first match day for both sides?Richarlison or Jesus? Everyone knows the answer must be Jesus. Through the course of the season barring injuries,he would have more game time than Richarlison, especially in the EPL. Yet they are supposed to be gunning for thesame number 9 shirt at the World Cup.🤷‍♂️
Well I join the pop corn thing, waiting to see how it unfolds.

Beautiful recruitment Tottenham is doing.

Cheers

There will be plenty of game time for Richarlison with the sheer amount of games coming up. He is now playing for a bigger club with better players in the champions league. Higher status for him. I reckon his place is secure with Brazil. If Jesus wasn't prolific with arguably the best team in the world then he won't be a prolific number 9 at WOolwich.

Ok meaning Jesus will have even much more game time with the sheer amount of games.
I have spoken on Pep in my comment, that suffices for being "prolific".

Arteta has got the boy he knows well,a number 9 that the team needed(a massive upgrade on Lacazette,by the way). He won't be regretting he didn't sign a Richarlison who plays on the left in his club, when he has the impressive Brazilian, Martinelli and elegant and dogged Smith Rowe "fighting" it out for that spot.

Cheers

I believe Lucas has no future with the club again because he will be benched most times.

Matters arising. As I continued to speak about the impressiveness of Tottenham's business, I was accosted by a Tottenham faithful. Hear ye him.

"First three(Perisic,Bissouma,Forster) are very good signings, but Richarlison and Lenglet are not in my opinion. Being Brazilian is not enough. Nigerian striker from Watford Emmanuel Dennis worth only 14 million Euros had similar or even better stats than him:
https://fbref.com/en/stathead/player_comparison.cgi?show_form=1&request=1&sum=0&comp_type=spec&spec_comps=9&player_id1=fa031b34&p1yrfrom=2021-2022&player_id2=2c44a35d&p2yrfrom=2021-2022
14 million Euro against 60 million pounds it looks like someone overpaid in epic way."

Has Emmanuel Dennis played in the premiership for a team over the last 5 years?? You are only basing your stats on one season. Plus it is the one season that Everton were useless. Watford were even worse I am afraid but the Brazilian actually saved Everton. The same can't be said for Emmanuel.

That's some point– "the last 5 years". As for saving,Dennis was even more than what Richarlison was to his team. Watford's EPL exit doesn't mean Dennis didn't save them, much like United's date with the Europa doesn't rubbish the fact that Ronaldo consistently bailed them out of trouble. He was a success even if United wasn't.

Anyways you should be addressing these to your colleague. I happen to send the link of your post to him and see his reply:

"I've read that article. I wish I am wrong and he's right, but I still have doubts about both. I think Richarlison is player who will first make you jump from the seat with one or two good moves, but just when you expect something big like goal or crucial pass will come he'll make a beginner mistake and then fall and make you fall back in seat angry. About Lenglet I think he can make good long passes, but his defending is, to put it nicely, just not good enough. There is still hope Conte can make them better than they actually are."

Once again, you guys are not exactly on thesame page and as a neutral I think he has made some valid points.

I'm just thinking how I can link you guys together, you can feel his passion for the club. I'll send this your reply to him.

I think you guys need to now pay me for doing this middle-man kind of assignment. 🙂

Cheers
