Meu nome é Delei de souza sou skatista , e sou vendedor e apos anos de trabalho como funcionario de empresas de skate , pude me tornar o atual proprietario da Bless Skateshop,que fica situada no bairro de santana na zona norte de São Paulo. Por muitos anos, carreguei o sonho de ver os shapes da Bless serem fabricados por uma empresa americana para que um dia tivessemos um shape tipo os shapes de marcas como a Real , DGK e Baker . A escassez de material de skate no Brasil, agravada pela pandemia e pela crescente popularidade do skate, tornou a missão ainda mais desafiadora. No entanto, como skatistas, a persistência é parte fundamental do nosso DNA, e desistir nunca foi uma opção.

Ao final de 2021, uma reviravolta inesperada proporcionou a realização desse sonho. Realizei uma assesoria de vendas para o meu amigo Julio De la Cruz , e recebi uma comissão de vendas por serviços prestados, e como pagamento me vi com os tão sonhados shapes da Bless, fabricados sob medida, exatamente como havíamos imaginado.

Mas havia um detalhe: para colocar as mãos nesses shapes, eu teria que fazer uma jornada até outro pais nosso vizinho Peru 🇵🇪

Decidido a não deixar essa oportunidade escapar, embarquei em uma viagem de muitos quilômetros, rumo à cidade fronteiriça com o Acre chamada Assis Brasil. Deixei para trás minha esposa e minha filha, pois tínhamos um prazo apertado para retirar os shapes em Puerto Maldonado, no Peru. A estrada tornou-se meu caminho, e a ansiedade de alcançar os tão sonhados shapes impulsionava cada quilômetro percorrido.

A chegada à cidade fronteiriça trouxe consigo uma mistura de emoções. A espera pelo transporte até Puerto Maldonado era intensa, mas a perspectiva de realizar um sonho mantinha a chama acesa. Enquanto a virada do ano se aproximava, eu me encontrava em Assis Brasil, na fronteira entre Brasil e Peru, um ponto remoto, longe das festividades habituais.

O prazo apertado e a incerteza pairavam sobre a viagem, mas a determinação de não desistir manteve-me firme. A travessia para o Peru pelo rio Acre as estradas desconhecidas e as paisagens exuberantes da selva brasileira e peruana , tornaram essa aventura única. Chegar à cidade de Puerto Maldonado foi um alívio, e a emoção de segurar os sonhados shapes, fez cada desafio valer a pena.

Retornando à Bless Skateshop, não trouxe apenas shapes de qualidade. Trouxe comigo uma história de superação, determinação e a mensagem clara de que, mesmo diante das adversidades, nunca devemos desistir dos nossos sonhos. Essa jornada não apenas fortaleceu a Bless Skateshop, mas também se tornou um símbolo para a comunidade de skate na zona norte de São Paulo.

Enquanto início este ano, carrego comigo a lembrança daquela jornada, e minha mensagem para todos os skatistas lá fora é simples: "Nunca desista dos seus sonhos." O skate é mais do que um esporte; é uma forma de vida que nos ensina a persistir, a superar e a continuar andando, não importa o quão árdua seja a jornada.

"From the Streets of São Paulo to the Jungles of Peru: A Skate Odyssey with Bless Skateshop"**

My name is Delei de Souza, a skateboarder and salesman, and after years of working for skateboard companies, I became the proud owner of Bless Skateshop, located in the Santana neighborhood in the northern zone of São Paulo. For many years, I carried the dream of seeing Bless shapes manufactured by an American company, envisioning a skate deck akin to those of renowned brands like Real, DGK, and Baker. The scarcity of skate materials in Brazil, exacerbated by the pandemic and the surging popularity of skateboarding, made this mission even more challenging. However, as skateboarders, persistence is ingrained in our DNA, and giving up has never been an option.

At the end of 2021, an unexpected turn of events brought this dream to fruition. I provided sales consultancy for my friend Julio De la Cruz and received a commission for my services, and as payment, I found myself with the long-coveted Bless shapes, tailor-made just as we had imagined.

But there was a catch: to lay hands on these shapes, I had to embark on a journey to another country, our neighbor Peru 🇵🇪

Determined not to let this opportunity slip away, I set out on a journey of many kilometers toward the border town with Acre called Assis Brasil. I left behind my wife and daughter, as we had a tight deadline to pick up the shapes in Puerto Maldonado, Peru. The road became my path, and the anticipation of reaching the cherished shapes fueled every kilometer.

The arrival in the border town brought a mix of emotions. The wait for transportation to Puerto Maldonado was intense, but the prospect of realizing a dream kept the flame alive. As the New Year approached, I found myself in Assis Brasil, on the border between Brazil and Peru, a remote point far from the usual festivities.

The tight deadline and uncertainty loomed over the journey, but the determination not to give up kept me steadfast. The crossing to Peru via the Acre River, the unknown roads, and the lush landscapes of the Brazilian and Peruvian jungles made this adventure unique. Arriving in Puerto Maldonado was a relief, and the excitement of holding the long-awaited shapes made every challenge worthwhile.

Returning to Bless Skateshop, I brought not only quality shapes but also a story of overcoming challenges, determination, and a clear message that, even in the face of adversity, we should never give up on our dreams. This journey not only strengthened Bless Skateshop but also became a symbol for the skate community in the northern zone of São Paulo.

As I start this year, I carry the memory of that journey, and my message to all skateboarders out there is simple: "Never give up on your dreams." Skateboarding is more than a sport; it's a way of life that teaches us to persist, overcome, and keep rolling, no matter how challenging the journey may be.
