A deep dive into the history of the Heaven & Earth Society, who were the successors of the White Lotus Society, and how it relates to me, the Li/Lee clan where i hail from, in the face of 2025's incoming Agenda 2030.
More than 300 hundred years ago China was ruled by the Ming dynasty. There was a foreign nation called Manchu living northeast of China.
Manchu successfully invaded the Ming regime and ruled China for about 300 years under the a new regime called the Qing-Imperium.
During this time in the early 1600s, The Heaven & Earth Society was primarily secret a mutual aid and self-protection association, where people from all walks of life in Ancient China banded together with the hopes of creating parallel social institutions independent of gentry elites and the Manchurian Invasion.
The Heaven & Earth Society was lead by forces still loyal to the destroyed Ming Dynasty for the purpose of uniting all underground forces in overthrowing the Qing Dynasty and restoring the Ming Dynasty. Later on it changed its name to Hongmen/Hung Moon (Cantonese)/洪門, which literally means Hong’s/Hung's Door/School/Group; and became a more structured organization where different groups of anti-Qing forces were amalgamated into one organization. The character 洪, meaning "Vastness", was chosen because the word resembles the Chinese character for the pure-blood Han peoples - 漢.
It was during this time where we find Martial Arts masters from all walks of life being pursecuted, purged and exiled for being a Ming-Loyalist. Most exiles ended up living very nomadic lives; the most prominent being those who recreated themselves as travelling performers on the Red Opera Boat. It was during this time that Wing Chun/Fist of The Singing Spring was created; born out of hope and encapsulating the mission of reclaiming China from a foreign takeover and ending a at least 800 years of war between the Manchu's and Han Chinese.
The Heaven & Earth Society (aka the people of the "Vast-Gate"/Hung Moon/Hongmen) grew stronger over time, though the movement never achieved its aim to restore the Ming Dynasty in the end. The Heaven & Earth society further evolved into becoming a syndicate that founded the Chinese underworld gangs all over the world, now known as the "San Haap Wui" (Cantonese)/Traid/The Three-Harmonious Society; representing Heaven, Earth and Humanity.
