If fitness trackers could talk, mine would’ve said: “Nice try.”
Another Tuesday buried in back-to-back meetings, where my headset and I basically merged into one being. My day alternated between holding a mouse like it owed me money and gripping the steering wheel like I was racing to a deadline (because I was).

And yet… 5,000 steps logged.
Not from a lunchtime stroll. Not from a post-meeting walk. But from the only pilgrimage that matters on days like this—the one between my desk and the coffee machine. Multiple times. With urgency. And maybe some light soul-searching in between.

The lesson? Never underestimate the power of desperation—and caffeine—as a step motivator. ☕
