All I do is win win win

I know, I know, Virginia Tech actually lost this game, but it was the first photo I grabbed for my post today. Actually, I took this photo because my older nieces posted a photo on social media of themselves at the Virginia Tech game. I took this photo and sent them a text letting them know I was with them in spirit. It was a sweet exchange between us.
I talked about college football yesterday, so today is actually about the NFL. As I said last week, I actually don't find myself watching as many NFL games as I used to. I think my wife is probably okay with that, but since we aren't playing fantasy football anymore, there isn't much point of following all the random teams that I used to.
That isn't to say I don't miss it, because I honestly do, but as I said, I had zero desire to run the league again this year and no one else decided to step up. I think what bugs me the most about it is I later found out that some of them are actually playing this year, just in a different league. It honestly hurts a little, but not enough that I am going to let it ruin my day.
Things got started on Thursday this past week with San Francisco taking the Rams into overtime and beating them 26 to 23. I think that is two losses in a row now for the Rams and it might be a bad sign for them.
Then on Sunday football headed across the pond and we had the game in London (I think it was) with Minnesota taking on Cleveland. This is the second game that Minnesota has played over in the UK and it netted them the 21 to 17 victory over the Browns. I didn't get much response from anyone on my last post, so hopefully this time someone can tell me, do people in Europe and the UK really care about American football? @slobberchops? @steevc? @raymondspeaks? @silverstackeruk? Can you enlighten me?
Houston threw a beating down on Baltimore 44 to 10, and Carolina snagged a win against Miami 27 to 24.
Denver had a close game against Philadelphia, but ended up snatching the win 21 to 17, and Dallas took down the New York Jets 37 to 22. Honestly, I don't think that really says much for the Cowboys though. The Jets haven't won a single game all season so far. The fact that the Cowboys allowed them to score 22 points is kind of sad.
In a stunner, New Orleans finally earned their first win of the season beating The New York Giants 26 to 14. Way to go Saints! That win means that The Jets are now the only team in the NFL that haven't won a game this season.
Indy crushed The Raiders 40 to 6 and that leaves the Raiders with just one win on the season. They aren't alone though as Miami, Baltimore, Cleveland, Tennessee, The Giants, and New Orleans all only have one win as well.
Tampa Bay took down Seattle 38 to 35 and Tennessee got their first win with a 22 to 21 victory over Arizona.
The Washington Commanders continued the Chargers recent drought beating them 27 to 10, and the Lions crushed Cincinnati 37 to 24. I actually feel like this was less close of a game than the score would lead you to believe. I was actually out riding around with my buddy @a4xjeeper in his new Jeep, so I didn't get to watch all the game, but by the time I came home, the Lions were up by so much that I think they started to play softer on defense at the end of the game. That left the door open for the Bengals to score some more points.
Finally, we had New England stun the Bills and hand them their first loss of the season 23 to 20. Likewise, last night Jacksonville sent Kansas City packing with a 31 to 28 win for the Jaguars. Nothing makes me happier than seeing Mahomes lose.
As of week six, there isn't a single team that is undefeated, so that opening loss by the Lions to the Packers doesn't bug me quite as much as it used to.
Many people feel the Lions and the Buccaneers are on a collision course for the post season, but we will see. There is still a lot of season ahead of us and the Lions are already starting to pile up the injuries.
