Sports Betting with Bozz: Winning in other ways

This week wasn't very kind to me as far as sports betting goes. I did pretty horrible losing pretty much every bet I made. It seems what little luck I had the week before was fleeting at best.

The good news is, I made it to an actual casino this week and I did better than I would have realized. It was last night and @iikrypticsii and I headed to a local casino to do a little gaming. I took $100 to play with and after a lot of bad luck I was down to my last $5 or $10.

I put it in a machine and went to the bonus on my second or third spin. I ended up winning back $125, so I walked away no worse for wear!

Instead of throwing a ton of pictures of losing bets at you like I have been doing each week. I am going to just share a couple with you. It's honestly a lot of work downloading all of the screenshots and formatting them for a post.

Which isn't very realistic when I honestly think only about five people read these posts anyway!

As you will see, I had quite a few near misses this past weekend on my parlay bets. I already mentioned that I had a straight bet on the Clemson/Syracuse game that didn't pan our for me. Syracuse tried, but they ended up falling short...

Can't say I am very happy with UCLA and their inability to cover the spread. Also pretty upset with Arizona for scoring so many points. Ugh!

Here we have an example of a parlay that I put together myself. You see, as I have mentioned in my other posts, my niece is doing really well with her fantasy team this year. She seems to have picked all the top performers from across the league.

Keeping that in mind, I decide to basically bet her team this week. I took her top wide receivers and running backs and put bets on them that they would achieve a certain amount of yards or more.

As you can see, I was so close to winning, but Austin Ekeler let me down. If I had just changed the odds a little on his yards or left him off completely, it could have been a really easy three leg parlay win.

Shame on me for getting greedy!

As far as the other parlay, the Steelers clearly couldn't get the over. So close....

Finally, we have my DraftKings bets and a whole bunch of losers they were. My pot on that platform is about a tenth of the size as my FanDuel account, so I have pick my bets very carefully.
It is dwindling smaller and smaller each day, so I need to turn things around with that account or it is going to be dead very soon. I don't plan on infusing more money into the account unless they offer me some insane deal like $100 in funds when you deposit $20 or something like that.

It's going to be a big weekend for sports with the Michigan/Michigan State game on Saturday. I hope I can pull out a couple of wins to boost my coffers.

That Unders bet in Cards vs Saints would've hurt. I have a habit of never going Unders which bites me so often, but when I watch games it makes it interesting as I'm barracking for anyone to score. Best of luck!

Haha, I can totally understand that. I tend to think that most games are going to go high, but we have seen some really heavy defensive games this season. Some of the scores have been so low!
