YAWN!!!

At least in recent history, I can't think of a Superbowl that I am less interested in. This morning I woke up to discover the Seattle Seahawks had beaten the Los Angeles Rams to make it to the Superbowl. I wasn't actually very surprised about that. I've been saying for a couple of weeks now that the Seahawks look to be the team to beat. I am a bit surprised that the Rams were able to keep it so close. Especially since the game was in Seattle.
With a final score of 31 to 27, the hopes of Matthew Stafford getting a second Superbowl ring have been dashed.
I didn't even stay up to watch the game, that's how little I cared about it and how sure I was that Seattle was probably going to win. Like I said though, props to LA for keeping it as close as they did.
Where the Rams/Seahawks game was a offensive feast, the Patriots/Broncos game was anything but. It was more of a defensive slog and given the weather conditions in the second half of the game, I am not really that surprised. They keep calling it a blizzard, but I honestly don't think that is the case. I think it was just a lot of snow. There are certain conditions that need to be met to be called a blizzard, so I think this was more of a figurative thing than a literal one.
I wasn't there though, so I could be totally wrong.
Given the ability of the Broncos defense to stymie the offense of the Patriots, it really makes you wonder if things might have gone differently if Nix hadn't been hurt and able to play. I guess we will never know. Instead, we got a snowy 10 to 7 victory by the Patriots.
That leads us to the Superbowl in a couple weeks where the Patriots will take on the Seahawks. Who gives a !@#%!$%@.
I don't even know much of Bad Bunnies music, so I doubt I will even care about the halftime show like I have in years past. In fact, there is a good chance I won't even watch the game this year. As we have seen in past years, many of the commercials get pre-released anyway. If nothing else, I might follow it because I have some squares on some Superbowl boards that my nieces and nephews are doing as a fund raiser.
Beyond that, this is probably going to be the most uninteresting Superbowl game ever. I'd honestly rather watch the Cowboys play than cheer for either of these teams. If you put a knife to my neck and forced me to pick one, I would probably go with the Patriots. Just because they are likely the underdog in the game, and @mrsbozz cousin played for them for a couple of seasons.
