@bozz.sports: LFG!

Back in the day, the letters LFG had a much different meaning than they do today. It actually took me a while to figure out what they were referring to. I would see them posting in forums and Discord servers here and there and I would think "why are they saying "looking for group"".

I guess that goes back to my old gamer days when I was grinding away at World of Warcraft trying to get attuned to Molten Core or some other Onyxia.

These days, LFG proliferates reality TV and every other aspect of our lives. Instead of meaning "Looking for Group", it means "Let's !@#!#$^ Go". You can fill in the blank yourself. This is a family blog after all :P

In my case today, I think that both phrases fit really well. I've started to be more active with my @bozz.sports account again. Obviously, I have been posting a lot to the sports community, but I also feel my content is pretty good quality and decently long form. That has me wondering if I can get some more traction on that account by posting to other communities.

After all, I have been putting in a good deal of effort into the posts that I am writing over there. I'd like to see them getting a bit more than the current rewards. Don't get me wrong, I am not complaining about the current rewards. I know any rewards should be seen as a win. I also know I am probably making more on my secondary account than some people do on their main account.

A lot of that has to do with name recognition and reputation though. I have been here five + years hounding away trying to make a name for myself. It isn't like I am getting all of this for free.

I think one of the issues I am running into is the fact that certain curation groups feel my main account already makes enough in rewards, so why boost my secondary account. I totally respect that. I wouldn't want to take away from some of the communities those big accounts are incubating.

I'm just trying to find fair compensation.

Someone the other day suggested maybe I should use a different account that doesn't have such a similar name to my main one. I know they weren't serious, but I still shot that down right away. It just doesn't feel right to me. It feels like I am trying to sidestep the process and rape the reward pool. I don't want to get lumped in with those who do that. I also don't like the optics on doing something like that. That's a personal decision for me.

Sure, I could just start posting all of my stuff from my main account, but since most of my content from my sports account is sports related, it just feels right to keep them separate.

So anyway. I'm reaching out to you for suggestions on communities that you think my @bozz.sports content could fit into. I know there are a ton out there. I am just looking to get some more reach without tag farming. I don't like the optics of that either. Let's talk about it in the comments. Do you have two accounts that you regularly post from? How do you manage them? Are there some catch all tags I should/could be using?

Thanks in advance!

Haha, yeah that is a good one. Thanks I appreciate that too. I just wish I could get a bit more eyes on the other posts.
