College Football - Show Us Your California

Hi Friends,

This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @thesocalhive where we share an aspect of our California.

With the fall coming (albeit, it seems so far away from that weather), it is the start of college football season! As a sports fan, I enjoy watching college football and try to make it to a couple games a season.

The other day, my family went over to watch the UCLA Bruins play at the Rose Bowl Stadium:

As you can see, it was pretty empty - it was the first game of the season and they were playing an easy team. Add in the fact that the weather was 102 degrees Fahrenheit and you can understand why there was low attendance!

We had fun though and stayed wet to keep cool. We moved from our seats and found some shade as well. We fared OK in the heat, but you can tell from the drive home, the kids were ready to get back to the AC!

UCLA won easily in this game, and we have plans to go to a couple of other college football games this season as well!

Thanks for coming by and checking out a piece of my California.

Brian

102F weather is so high. It has been rainy and cooler in my city. Therefore, I spent time mostly indoor. The weather has made me get bored.
