I never really signed up or got tempted for the most part on that first wave of platforms like FanDuel or DraftKings.

That is cool you went on a good run with it. I'm trying to be very cautious not to give it all back even though I just have a little bit on there. I feel like I'm better off getting the money over to crypto.

I get enough of the gambling thrill from crypto so I don't get all bricked up over casinos or sports betting but I little bit of me would like if I did start following someone who was winning more than losing and I just primarily copy their bets and grow a little more sizable bag over there with little effort or mental energy expended.

I tried using a few sites for a while and they worked for a bit, but then they started falling flat for me. I think a lot of it had to do with my playing parlays and those are just bad ideas. The whole futures Poly/Kalshi thing is kind of interesting to me, but I feel like it would just be another way for me to lose my money!

Everyone that I know who has tried to go hard at sports betting ended up losing so I have primarily watched from a distance.

I have watched the prediction market stuff and also perpetuals contracts from a distance and often wonder if I'm falling behind and will suddenly start believing the official story for 9/11 and falling for AI traps.

Like what's the "Next Thing" that doesn't take our gains. It's tougher and tougher to tell at this point. Notice how a lot of the video ads for Kalshi seem to be AI generated? I also get ads for a new dating App called Boo and all the ads are AI. I do think that is sort of a new trend. Rapid deploy an app and have virtual agents cranking AI generated ads.

We don't want to get passed up but also we were early to the punch on stuff like Bitcoin, Monero, etc.

I'm personally going to double down on my athletic ability / social media which seems off subject but things are changing rapidly and I'm seeing opportunities popping up and money being thrown around and people blowing up on platforms I hadn't really heard of previously like Kick.

Also I'm seeing guys leverage socials in New ways. For instance there is this guy who wrestles guys for a $1,000 if they can take him down. Well in one video he wrestled his college coach who is in his 40s who is currently the coach at Kent State. Everything they were doing looked so athletic and strategic that I was like WTF!!!! 😲😲😳😳😳

I'm sure there were a ton of young wrestlers who saw that and really respected what they saw and now want to wrestle there. That could lead to him having a better team and getting even more lucrative coaching positions in the future. Some of these college coaches are getting paid insane amounts. Penn State's wrestling coach reportedly makes over a million each year and Iowa's Wrestling coach makes over $700,000 / year which is absolutely insane.

Also I will add in that I didn't wrestle growing up and just have a friend who wrestled and his son wrestles. Then I find myself watching this guy's content.

The part with his coach starts at about 6:48

My nephew just started wrestling this year. My brother in laws brother in law is one of the head coaches for the US Olympic team. It's an interesting sport.

That's cool. It's good to have those connections.

Yeah it is super interesting and it seems like every culture had some variation of wrestling.
