Spokojna środa w pracy, ciągle coś się działo, ale to dobrze, bo czas szybciej minął. A to było ważne ze względu na to, że zacząłem godzinę wcześniej, a skończyłem o normalnej porze. Piękna wiosenna pogoda na zewnątrz, żal było robić trening w czterech ścianach siłowni, ale plan jest po to, żeby go przestrzegać. Po około miesiącu regularnych treningów nie tylko ja zauważam zmiany, wczoraj nawet usłyszałem od kolegi z pracy, że "chyba schudłeś?". Wagowo zmiana jest stosunkowo nieduża, bo ubyło około dwóch kilogramów, bardziej cieszy ubytek kilku centymetrów w pasie, a na tym najbardziej mi zależało.

[ENG] On a quiet Wednesday at work, something was still happening, but it was good because the time went by quicker. And this was important because I started an hour early and finished at my usual time. With the beautiful spring weather outside, it was a shame to do a workout within the gym's four walls, but the plan is there to be followed. After a month or so of regular training, I'm not the only one noticing a change. I even heard a work colleague say yesterday, "I think you've lost weight?". Weight-wise, the difference is relatively small, as about two kilos have been lost. It's more gratifying to lose a few centimetres in the waist, which I was most concerned about.

Wczoraj w planie była sesja cardio, w formie, którą ja nazywam "wojskową", czyli miałem ćwiczyć na trzech urządzeniach: ergometrze wioślarskim, rowerze stacjonarnym i bieżni elektrycznej. Na każdym z tych urządzeń miałem spalić po 150 kcal. Trening w oparciu o kalorie jest bardzo subiekywny, bo każde z urządzeń inaczej liczy kalorie. Inne wskazania pojawiały się na wyświetlaczach tych urządzeń, a inne dane wskazywał egarek Garmina. Generalnie wyszło, że spaliłem więcej kalorii niż było trzeba, ale nie szczególnie mnie to zmęczyło.

[ENG] Yesterday's plan was a cardio session, in what I call 'military' form, meaning I was to exercise on three pieces of equipment: a rowing ergometer, a stationary bike and an electric treadmill. I was to burn 150 kcal on each of these machines. Calorie-based training is very subjective because each device counts calories differently. Different readings appeared on the displays of these devices, and the Garmin watch indicated further data. Overall, it worked out that I burned more calories than needed, but it didn't tire me out.
