Kiedy wczoraj żona postawiła mi zadanie wysuszenia prania w pralni nawet nie myślałem, że wyląduję w kinie. Do pełni szczęścia brakowało tylko słynnego popcornu Hołowni. Oczywiście z tym kinem to tylko przenośnia, ale działo się, zapnijcie pasy.

Przed pralnią w bazie jest nieduży parking na 10 samochodów plus jedno miejsce dla niepełnosprawnych, są też dwa miejsca wykluczone, które służą dla dostawców. Parking zwykle w czasie lunchu szybko się zapełnia, bo obok pralni jest Starbucks i sklep monopolowy. Wczoraj, kiedy próbowałem tam zaparkować był pełen, a na dodatek na środku stał jeszcze samochód żandarmerii wojskowej. Wycofałem się i zaparkowałem około 50 metrów dalej na ogromnym parkingu przed supermarketem. Załadowałem pranie do suszarki i już miałem brać się za lekturę książki, ale najpierw zerknąłem przez szybę na ten parking. Okazało się, że ten samochód żandarmerii nie stał tam bez przyczyny, bo żandarm wystawiał mandaty za parkowanie na tych dwóch miejscach wykluczonych. Śmieszne było to, że kiedy skończył z jednym kierowcą to drugi stał w kolejce do obsłużenie, a w międzyczasie na miejsce pierwszego parkował następny i za chwilę ustawiał się w kolejce do obsłużenia przez żandarma, i tak w kółko przez cały czas. Oczywiście żandarm nie miał prawa wystawiać mandatów gotówkowych, mógł tylko kierowcę lub właściciela pojazdu ukarać punktami karnymi.

Po około 20 minutach najprawdopodobniej żandarmowi skończył się bloczek z mandatami, albo wyrobił normę na cały tydzień, bo machnął na wszystko ręką, wsiadł do samochodu i odjechał. Kilka minut później kolejny samochód żandarmerii wjechał na parking. Myślę sobie, znów będzie się działo, ale nie, ten stanął na jednym z wykluczonych miejsc, bo reszta była zajęta i poszedł do sklepu monopolowego.

The only thing missing for complete happiness was Hołownia's famous popcorn. Of course, with this cinema it's just a metaphor, but it happened, fasten your seat belts.
In front of the base's laundry room, there is a small parking lot for 10 cars plus one disabled space, and there are also two disabled spaces for delivery drivers. The parking lot usually fills up quickly during lunch because there is a Starbucks and a liquor store next to the laundromat. Yesterday, when I tried to park there, it was full, and there was also a military police car in the middle. I backed out and parked about 50 yards away in the huge parking lot in front of the supermarket. I loaded the laundry into the dryer and was about to start reading the book, but first I glanced through the window at the parking lot. It turned out that the gendarmerie car was not parked there without a reason, because the gendarme was issuing tickets for parking in these two excluded spaces. The funny thing was that when he finished with one driver, the second one was standing in line to be served, and in the meantime, another one parked in the place of the first one and in a moment he was standing in line to be served by a gendarme. Of course, the gendarme has no right to issue cash fines, he can only punish the driver or vehicle owner with penalty points.
After about 20 minutes, the gendarme most likely ran out of tickets, or he had already met his quota for the entire week, because he waved everything off, got into the car and drove away. A few minutes later, another gendarmerie car pulled into the parking lot. I thought to myself, something will happen again, but no, this one stood in one of the excluded places, because the rest were occupied, and went to the liquor store.

Wciąż bez biegania, wczoraj nawet żona była zmęczona i ograniczyliśmy się do około godzinnego mrszu w lesie.
